I have been using Aida64 since Lavalys was developing it as Everest. Great piece of kit every PC nerd should have. It is much more than just Sensor Panels. For those that dont know, it is very valuable PC diagnostic, monitoring, and benchmarking software. One of the best packaged as one application in my opinion. If not the King.
Now to the premise of my post.
My former Aida64 Forum user names: xmanrigger, 1Thirteen. My current isnt hard to figure out.
A thread was started in Aida64 forums for sharing Sensor Panels back in 2012. It was to show off and share Sensor Panels that forum members created. Since the thread was created, it became the biggest and most popular in the Aida64 forums. The thread exploded with enthusiasm. All kinds of awesome original FREE panels were presented and shared. A lot of them very professional. Other members modded and shared some of those panels. Sometimes creating spectacular variations of the original. Or something new using elements from an original. This was encouraged by all. Including the original creators. It was what made the thread as popular as it WAS. Recently, things have changed. And not to the good. Now people are scared to share in fear of the Ban Hammer.
I am sure a lot of you here are aware with how cool that thread was. Well, earlier this year, a couple newer members of Aida64 Forums decided it was a good idea to monetize Sensor Panels and start selling them in that forum. And since then, that member (who is a professional graphics artist) has become a moderator of that thread. That is a direct conflict of interest. People familiar with the post will now the mod I am referring to. Since he has been a moderator, he has likely banned more members of the forum himself, than all other mods combined. He holds his authority and the Ban Hammer high and mighty. He abuses his authority and bans members simply because they didnt agree with him. Long time, upstanding, and contributing forum members as myself. 3 times for me. He seems to think it is alright for anyone's work to be copy, modded, and shared. But you cant use anything he has created and has been shared. He cries "copyright infringement". As far as copyright goes, I have seen at least one of my original panels offered for sale on the net. I was humbled and took it as as flattery. The fact that someone was willing to pay money for it.
He himself is guilty of doing the exact same thing he has banned others for doing. He has copied and modded other members work and shared it. His actions alone have killed the spirit and activity of what the tread once had. Activity likely dropped by 50%. Myself and several other Aida64 forum members have complained to Aida64 Administration to no avail.
For those that dont know, here is how you can find the elements used in a Sensor Panal.
Whenever you Import a Sensor Panel, all the elements are extracted to a sub folder of Aida64. Typically, you will find it here: C:\Program Files (x86)\FinalWire\AIDA64 Extreme\SensorPanel
Within the folders below Aida64, you will find the elements of any panel you have opened. The folder can get quite large as you open more panels.
Each custom gauge consists of 15 images. To recreate a custom gauge, you must use all 15 files. One for each state.
With that said, I would like to create another repository for Sensor Panels. FREE panels. Panels other members are free to mod and share however they desire. There are a few very simple rules to follow.
1) DO NOT POST THE SENSOR PANEL FILE UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO SHARE.
2) SHARE your Sensor Panel file knowing it can and most likely will be copied or modded in some fashion. (This is highly encouraged)
3) Post a screenshot and state resolution of the panel with the file. Sensor Panel file must be in a .ZIP archive to post to forum.
4) Give credit to original creator if known. (Sometimes not possible)
*****Please include or mention Fonts used. Otherwise panel may not display proper.
*****If willing to share, please include resources such as PSD files
Here are some original panels that I have created. Some elements in some panels were created and shared by others. You are free to use my work however you wish.
My most recent
Blue-Lit 1280X480
(There are two options for the the background and CPU Core Optimization grid in the file)
Blue 1280X480
Digital Red and Blue 1280X480
Digital Black Boxes 1280X480
ROG 1280X480
In the picture below, is the display I am using. It is the BeadaPanel 6.9" IPS monitor at 1280X480. It connects to the PC and is powered with a single USB cable. No other connections required. But will only be supported natively byAida64 with the included SDK. The display is crisp and bright. No driver required for Aida64. To use as a secondary monitor, there is a very basic Windows driver for it. The driver can be a bit tricky to install if you choose to do so. It was pretty much painless when I did it. There are advantages and disadvantages of both modes. In my opinion, no driver is best option. Oh, and it is kinda expensive. Available on Ebay.

- It is important to have all Fonts used in a panel, already installed on your PC. This will increase the chances of the panel being displayed properly.
- Scaling can be off and the panel looks scattered. This can be corrected sometimes by adjusting scaling withing the app or in video settings.
- When Importing a Sensor Panel file, select 'Show All Files'. Any Sensor Panel file extension can be Imported regardless of your display. Scaling maybe out though.
