Hello,

I recently got a rtx 5070 windforce ssf oc by Gigabyte,

Im trying to overclock it but i dont know what would be a good starting point? I used to have the 4070 amp aero which i overclock’d with msi afterburner.

I cant find any one suggesting or showing results of the non TI 5070, all results i see are for the ti variant

Kindly guide me how to overclock my card as its already slightly OC from factory which i think is 2542 MHs with reference card core clock 2412 MHz.

Thanks

My daughter's MSI Shadow 5070 overclocks to a +350mhz offset and max out the memory slider at +2000. This lets the core run at 3190 - 3240mhz depending on game load. This is her daily OC settings.

Very worth it to OC, it is super easy and stable and can net you up to a 14% uplift. She has a cheap MSRP model and does not allow me to adjust the power limit, I have not attempted to flash her bios to see if I could eek out more like I did to my 5080.

For overclocking the non-TI 5070, start by using MSI Afterburner like you did with the 4070. Since your factory OC is 2542 MHz, you can try bumping the core clock by 50-100 MHz in small increments and test stability with benchmarks (like 3DMark or Heaven). Keep an eye on temps and power limits, and make sure to test for stability after each adjustment. For memory, try adding 500-1000 MHz, but again, go slow and test.

Since the non-TI is less common, there aren’t many results out there, but this approach should help you dial in a solid OC.
