Your choices are interesting....lol.
Price and performance wise, that is.I think for what I paid for the Aorus Xtreme Ai Top,I think I can buy 2 of either the MSI Carbon or the Aorus Master(in Canadian).
Anyways,I've had my Xtreme Ai Top for a few months now and I can say it just works, zero issues.I check frequently on this forum to see if there's been any know issues or recalls that makes this board not worth its price tag or gives constant 'Headaches' and so far none.
Unless folks are not talking but so far the general consensus is thumbs up.I won't call myself a 'hardcore' overclocker so I haven't really push this board to the Extremes.
My memory runs at the desired speed,my 9800X3D runs cool and quite.
I was thinking of getting the 9950X3D and a higher clock memory and push this mobo but I think I'm going to wait for AM6 instead, which might be the last upgrade on this board and crank things up.
This board is Beautiful and Heavy !
For me,it was between this Aorus Xtreme, the Godlike or the Hero. And I've had enough with Asus and the Godlike features to me wasn't worth the money and now I heard the Godlike has some issues, one being the detachable display unit.
I'm happy with this board,no regrets. If funds are not an issue and you're not tight on a budget,I will say go for it.
I've been loving the Aorus Xtreme AI Top. I had the MSI X870E Godlike originally but that thing is riddled with issues because of its detachable Dashboard. I returned it the moment the Aorus Xtreme came out and have had no issues with this board since I got it in December (using a 9800X3D and then a 9950X3D).
I wasn't the one that asked for it, but I appreciate the feedback. I'm deciding between this and the Asus Extreme board (whenever it comes state-side). Knowing this one is solid is encouraging, as it is also considerably less expensive.

Which are the two chipset temperatures of your X870 Aorus Xtreme AI Top?

I wonder if they should be lower.

Could you share yours?

Thanks!

X870 Aorus Xtreme AI Top is back in stock on Amazon $799.99.

Nice looking motherboard :)

Here, testing CO right now on AIDA64, the chipset is at these temperatures. Very close to yours, by the way.

I installed new m.2 SSD, WD SN850X model, one with 4TB for operating system and apps, and the other with 8TB for media creation.

The one with the OS is installed in the top m.2 slot above the GPU (M2A slot). The other one is just under the GPU (M2B slot). Before these models I had the Samsung SS 990 Pro m.2 2TB and it was significantly cooler, around 10ºC in idle and c. 5-8ºC under work load.

The ssd m.2 under the GPU goes up to 85ºC at full load. I think that could be caused by the lack of ventilation due to the GPU thickness (MSI RTX 5090 Suprim).

I'm thinking in replacing the motherboard stock thermalpads and use the Alphacool Ice Layer 120mmx20mmx1,5mm

Alphacool Ice Layer Thermal Pad - 17W/mK 120x20x1.5mm - 2 pieces | Alphacool

Do you think it is worth to replace the original thermal pads that came with the motherboard for these ones?

BTW:
1) The WD SN850X 4TB and 8 TB models are double side vs single side of the Samsung 990 Pro. Could this increase temps?
2) Chipset temps increased in 5-8ºC once the second SSD m.2 (M2B slot) was installed. I guess is because chipset and ssd in M2B slot share the heatsink.

Cheers.

Hello,

I bought this Gigabyte Aorus X870e Xtreme AI Top motherboard and paired it with a Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 2x 24 GB GSkill 8400 MHz (F5-8400J4052G24GX2-TZ5K) which is on their QVL as tested with 2 slots at 8400, 40-52-52-134 and 1.4V

Unfortunately, while I can activate the XMP profile I have instabilities and Memtest86 is issuing errors on Test 6 "Block move, 64-byte blocks": everytime, it seems 1 bit is not written, for example 00000800 instead of 10000800.

As anyone tested that?

I have contacted Gigabyte support because while investigating, it seems that even with latest BIOS F5c, their tRAS can only go to 127 while needed value is 134. From what I read, having a too low value could result into data not properly written which is looking quite similar to the errors spotted by Memtest86.
In my support question I asked what is their testing protocol and if they could add more values to tRAS to support 134 as GSkill recommended. But not 100% sure it is the reasons of the instabilities.
They said to me that they have forwarded my request to their engineers.

If XMP profile is disabled, then no stability issue and Memtest86 is passing all OK.

Does anyone have a thought about this please?

Manual as in stock timings? Or do you mean you set everything yourself and you get no errors? If you get no errors manually setting all timings and memory speed yourself why not keep doing it that way?

Quick question regarding the X870E AORUS: XTREME AI TOP
is that a display on the left where you can display some hardware monitorings or is it just RGB?

It's just for show(rgb) as said above me.
If you're really 'serious' about Hardware monitoring, that extra hdmi slot besides the 24 pin connector was 'specifically' put there for that purpose.
You just need a small screen(monitor) with hdmi input and you go from there.
There are plenty inexpensive ones on Amazon.
Hope this helps.

B850M Force coming, might give X870E Apex a run on memory OC.

Not with the limits in the BIOS of the voltages you can set. :(
I forgot about the 1.65v limit.

I'm guessing the 9600MTs listed is same as Apex, using 8000 G-Series Processors,.. as they both list 9600MTs.

Not a bad showing thus far for my first Gigabyte X870E platform:

[I hope it's not all due to luck and unicorn parts]

If I hit 5000% coverage with no error, then I need to get my hands on one of those upcoming G.Skill low CL 192GB or 256GB kits ASAP.

Unfortunately this new version F6 has a mouse lag bug when you switch to the advance mode on the tweaker screen. Try it yourself.

F4 was fine. Not sure whether to leave at f6
Mouse is a bit slower but not so laggy in my case...
