I just finishing upgrading my custom loop with the Asus X870E Extreme and R9 9950X3D and i relised that the temps are too high than expected. My 9950x3d is delidded and my water block is the Thermal grizzly Pro V1. I cleared the surface very well and i even polished with thermal grizzly thermal paste the processor became shiny so i applied liquid metal on both cpu and water block along the area and i would say that was a good amound of liquid metal on both sides edges etc so i am seeing 40degrees idle ieven 45 sometimes and on cinebench at full load didn't exceed the 67 degrees. I am missing something here? is it normal for such delidded cpu idle more 40 degrees?
