Hey guys got my HAF 932 about a fortnight ago. Looking to setup a water cooling system to really max out my q6600. Anyway I wanted to take advantage of the fillport on top of my HAF 932 ( one of the reasons i liekd this case so much). I read around a bit and discovered the Dangerden fillport. Read around a bit more then discovered that it doesn't fit right apparently! So does anyone know where I could find one that would fit right and if you can;t what exactly would I have to do to the DD fillport to make it fit anyway?

Also looking to get a bay reservoir to go in conjunction with my DD fillport. Really baffed though. Can someone suggest a bay reservoir with a barb on top to connect to the fill port ( so the reservoir would have 3 barbs, in, out and filling ) Also which bay would i have to put the bay reservoir in? Could i put it in the top one or would the fillport and reservoir barb be too close?

Really hope someone can help me out here.

Thanks

Fillports are really not used in conjunction with a bay res, they use a T-line which put together, replace the need for a reservoir. Best thing to do is just use a bay res by itself, since the 'fillport' to the bay res is on top already. Other then that i'm actually not sure if there is a way to do exactly what you're looking for. As to where the bay res is put, they can go in any bay as long as the barbs/hoses aren't going to effect any of your other bay hardware.

Hmm I see what you mean. But i'm pretty sure i've seen fillports with reservoirs. Just unsure how to go about it. Aren't there any bay reservoirs with barbs on top? Hmm just really want to be able to use that fill port lol...

Problem...

A purchased 2 DangerDen brass fillports for this thing, one for the top, to be used for filling, and one for the bottom to be used as a drain.

Unfortunately, even though I've been told that top fill port hole was specifically designed for a DD fillport, it doesn't work.

The hole is big enough (standard 1/2" hole), but there appears to be two levels of material the port goes through, and there isn't enough thread exposed from the inside to screw on the locking nut. Bit of a drag.

I guess I could cut away some of the inner layer, but I thought this was designed for the DD fill port in particular. Anyone else run into this issue?

You're sure right lol? Oh and anyone of the bay reservoir with the barb on top yet? If not I might have to get a regular reservoir I know they have barbs on top for sure.

So you're saying that you would need to unscrew and remove the HAF 932's plastic top, install the fillport, and then reinstall the plastic top and it would work?

By the way, is the barb included with the fillport for 1/2" ID?

Come to think of it yeahh that's looks like it'll work but i'll have to order the fill port to find out for sure.
And yeah i'm pretty sure the barb included is 1/2.

Hmm yeah looks like the DangerDen Fillport fits perfectly. Anyone know anything of the bay reservoir with a 3rd barb for filling yet lol? come on guys!

Yeah it's a great case especially if your really going for a decent build. Very spacious and looks great in my opinion. It was definitely worth it.

I have a Danger-Den bay reservoir and it doesn't use a G 1/4 BSPP for the top filling area.

This isn't a bay-res, but you could use the Swiftech MC-RES 2. Should fit in drive bay area using the included brackets.

Hmm I was thinking about on of these. Suppose it wouldn't be to bad and I only really wanted the bay reservoir for aesthetic reasons. Hmm check out the Swiftech MCRES 2 it looks pretty good and it comes with the brackets and what I think is a fill port on top lol which can take a barb so I'd just connect that up to the dangerden fillport and hey presto. Think I'll definitely get on of these unless someone can suggest a better alternative?

Thanks mate Rep +
