Same here. Hell Win7 boots about 5 seconds faster when the quad was clocked at the same speed my e7300 was OC at.
 
Personally, I don't see how going quad could ever be a downgrade. Unless you get lemon.

yeah I <3 quad, i would take mine over any dual core, including e8600, quad is the way to go.
