Hi, shedokan!

I found out how to find the drivers on the ASUS website. However, I had to use the USA version.

Anyway, go to this URL, http://support.asus.com/download/dow...Language=en-us and then follow the directions below. Please be patient. Their website is painfully slow.
  1. At the top of this page, there are 3 combo boxes (or drop-down menus, or list boxes). In the first one, choose Motherboard (believe it or not. I thought it was Audio Cards too!)
  2. After waiting for it to load the next options, choose "Socket775"
  3. After waiting for it to load the Socket775 mobo choices, choose "Commando" (of course)
  4. After a long delay (hehe), it will darken the page, and a little dialog box will pop up asking you to select your operating system. "Vista64" is the 2nd one from the bottom.
  5. Click Search (obviously hehe)
  6. Now you're presented with some choices in bold, black text. Choose "AUDIO (3)"
  7. Click the word "Global" for the first one of the 3. It's the most up-to-date non-Beta version for this audio driver.
  8. After clicking on Global, your browser should do the normal thing and ask you want to do with the file. I have a feeling you can take over from here.

Now all you have to do is unzip the .zip file, run the installer, reboot when it's finished, and then you should be good to go.

If this isn't the correct driver, then we will keep trying!

Edit: LOL I am so late.

thanks!

Two Cables,

I was actually crying I was so frustrated in my search to find these drivers. Your step by step instructions are VERY well received. I even signed up for this site JUST so I could say "Thank you," and encourage you to post similarly helpful posts for people who have a hard time with this kind of thing. No joke...I spent 3 hours today with absolutely no helpful info.

Thank you.

Also, I wanna punch Mr. Asus for his website's inscrutable and unsearchable nature.

I'm speechless, but I'm very grateful to you for taking the time out to let me know. It's hard to describe the feelings this is giving me, but I guess I can just say that I'm very, very glad.

I'm also extremely grateful to you for encouraging me to keep posting like this. Your encouragement is exactly what I need right now. So thank you again for taking the time out to sign up and post this!
