Ya you won't have problems and if anything lower system temps with the added noise.

The air exhausted by the fans will be a bit cooler. On mine if I run it at 100% my cpu idle/load is UP to 2°c less and my chipset temp is lowered by 2 or 3°c. Not sure if you will get the same results since GTS 250's already run pretty cool. My 4870 idles at 35°c and loads at 47°c with my cooler.

well it also helps i have MSI's twinfrozr. the lowest ive evr gotten idle was 28C. load temps usually hover around 49C@ 80% if i dont run my room's heater.

Ya I saw that in your original post (twinfrozr). Test it out and see if it makes any difference then, just make sure your room temp is stable when doing it.

was just wodnering if it would shorten the life of the fan or something?

temperature is NOT the issue here.

case fans run at full rpm and i set my cpu fan all the way so why not, besides they are easy and cheap to replace, video cards arnt.

now honestly think about it

....all your fans are, are basically coils and magnets...they dont touch each other..so running the fan faster wont affect the life of them..all it does is make them louder

I'm pretty sure if you own a GTX 480 there is a law that states the fan must run at %100 all the time
