Yea as far i can see it is a "unique" 5 pole jack according to asus.

I think a regular 4 pole would be compatible. Since its just an extra GND at the end, the rest looks the same.

 

Ah, I had never seen that diagram before.

I think I'm out of luck, then; I don't think what you suggested, using a 4 pole, would work. The diagram is misleading. In the diagram, it looks like the 4 right poles of the Strix jack is equal in length to a regular 4 pole jack, but in reality all 5 poles of the Strix jack is the same length as a regular 4 pole jack (each pole on the Strix is slightly shorter than the standard).

From China, so expect a long ship time, but Lunashops is a good retailer.

 

If they do ship to Thailand here, I'm gonna need to find an electrical technician to make them into extension cables for me as I don't have the know-how to do it myself.

a regular 4 pole adapter would still work because the extra ground pole dosent do anything.
