No, just close the program, run install and it installs over previous beta. All my settings are the same.

You are supposed to uninstall the old one!
And when uninstalling, Afterburner will ask if you want to keep your settings for when you install the new version

I was told on my computer that MSI Afterburner is the cause of some BSODS or incompatibility with windows 7 on techsupportforums... I'm using EVGA precision now with OC Scanner but I might be interested in checking this out!

the fixed a lot of bugs.i think the bug with the 7000 series of amd with the clocks locks has gone

Same size to me. Change your settings - user interface and change your skin. It's probably set to compact mode by default.

oh wow, I like that they included the power limit right onto the UI now. looks much more neat as well.

 

can't wait to try it when I get home. Beta 15 did not like my hd7970 much.

Ive still got beta 14 runnin with 3 7970's and it works fine.

 

AB beta 15 was buggy as hell.most people complain about drivers but that was the real problem for me.i see that most problem gone with this release so no more gpu tweak or registry tweak
