Hi guys for this setting has been said in first page.
''PLL of 1.85-1.95 seem to work well for higher FCLK. 2.0+ can cause USB dropout. 1.75 Observed stable at 3800/1900.''
My mb is asus x570-e rog strix i can not find PPL voltage There is only one voltage it seems it should be it is called ''Cpu voltage''. Can anybody help me please where i can find PLL voltage?.
Thx for help
Look for CPU VDD18

sorry to aks, but can DRV strength help with fclk getting WHEA free??? never tried it and my 5900X is running 100% stable and WHEA free @fclk1900 with vsoc 1.00v / vddp 0.90v / vddg ccd 0.90v / vddg iod 0.95v with all DRV strength at 20.

Tried vsoc up to 1.20v and vddg iod up to 1.15v and nothing helped, but I didn't try any DRV strength higher than 20.

CPU boots into windows 10 up to fclk 2000.

Hi,

Need some advice on my 5800x3d and underclocking. I'm fairly new at working with the 5800x3d cpu. It's a true beast. As of now I'm running it on the latest bios for my Asus Crosshair 8 formula board. I'm running PBO2 and have ran the OCCT testing tool. I'm using for the curve -30 (all cores) and limits ppt 90w, tdc 60a, and edc 90a. I've created a task in my schedule to run the pbo2. However; upon reboot the limits don't hold. Therefore; I have to startup the program and reset the limits. Is there some way to add the limits to the task or is it better to create a bat file to run at boot up? Also, running the cpu with a custom water build (optimus wb).

Hi,
Just ran cbr23. I had quite a few processes running in the background when I did this. The pic shows a temp of 41.5 C according to AMD software. It was actually on cool down from the test. It was around 67C during testing. Is this temp normal or too high? This is with watercooling and it's a single loop. The rad is a 480mm xspc. I hope this was ok for this build. Prob could do a bit better than the 14235 score. Is this about average? Used the -30 curve and the limits were set to 90w, 60A, and 90A respectively.

@Worgened change AItweaker to manulal or expert and make screenshots manual for your board on asus page is weak.
@masterskop run hwinfo64 and cinebench and how can this cpu whit PPT 120W run normal when you set him "and the limits were set to 90w, 60A, and 90A " you have R5 5600 ? My horse is fast but he never win i dont give hem food wek before race and i dont know why he alweys last :D

I just picked up my 5800X3D a few weeks ago, and have been doing a bunch of experimenting, and this is my best CB R23 score. These settings were on 1.2.0.7 beta BIOS I found months before I got my 5800X3D and saved it, that allowed for PBO CO tuning from BIOS, and was set at -26, -22, -22, -30, -30, -30, -28, -30, with negative voltage offset of -.0375V. I'm on a Noctua NH-D15S, with an MSI X570 Unify. I've now upgraded to the 1.2.0.8 BIOS and it allows for PBO CO tuning as well from BIOS, and still over 15K in CB R23. I tried -30 all core, and my score was lower. However, 14K still seems low for PBO CO tuning, as my score completely stock was 14,028 and only boosting to 4.2Ghz all core, unlike the 4.47Ghz with PBO tuning.

Thanks for answer but there is no named voltage as CPU VDD only one voltage is seems to be it is called CPU Voltage it is auto atm and 1.8v. Still could not find it:(
That's most likely the PLL then. The actual CPU voltage won't ever go as high as 1.8v on its own.

Score is a bit low, but only because you lowered the limits. Keep -30 CO but set the limits back to default.

As far as temps, on AGESA 1.2.0.8 mine runs at about 69°C with R23 on a 420mm AIO...-30 CO, default limits

I rerun the test and set the limits to default.

@Dziarson...run normal? Y. I set the ppt to 90w. Isn't this ok? I'll reset all the pbo2 limits back to their basic limits. I think the original limits were 142w, 95A, and 140A. I don't know why it runs normal with a 90w ppt. Maybe something isn't right with the pbo2 tuner. When I started PBO2 the first time and checked the limits...they were 142w, 95A, and 140A. So, the ppt should be at 120w? I'll wait till you or someone here says something about this. I'm hitting the hay at this point. Any info is appreciated! I'll be back tomorrow. Too tired to continue tonight. :)

It's not running normal. It can run relatively high clock speeds at 90watts but I can easily get all my cores to hit 4550 using 150 watts of power. Instant 100c too.

Modifying this processor is kind of pointless... Setting it up so 4-6 cores boost high and jump around everywhere can be much faster than all 8 cores steady 4550 in real world.

I've spent so much time it's really pointless. It's basically down to what you're chip can handle with the temperatures from allowing 150 watts to flow through a chip meant for 105.

I literally set mine at 400 watts and 200/200 amps. There's no limit.

I'm so sick of this non overclock crap. I've redone my bios from a total bios reset over 50 times now tweaking this stupid processor and getting stuck at boot.

I have much more fun going into registry and disabling all limits and safety on my rx6900xt and run it at 105c at 400 watts 2800mhz. :p

I know nobody really uses user bench but I did to keep a record of real world performance.

What do you expect from a locked CPU? You really cant do much of anything with it. Its clock speed is pathetic. Mine runs cool, heat for me isn't a problem because its clock speed is so gimped, and I have a good cooling setup.

It pretty much turns your rig into a Dell. I keep flip flopping between it and my 5900X :D

Not to mention I just bought X3D 6 months ago and they already have a newer faster kickass model out. AMD can suck it lol.

You can get it to run all 4550 mHz under load, but it's going to be a very hot 150watt package...

Also this was a great upgrade from my 3700x, and I'm kind of waiting for someone to hack up a bios or release some tool. I'd like to set this bastard to 5000mHz c0 24/7.

It's been out for almost a year now. If it was going to happen it would've by now...

I am extremely hesitant to get myself a X3D mainly because of the lack of decent speed memory overclocking. What is an example of a high Fclk on the 5800X3D on here? 2000? 2033 maybe? Is there anybody who runs 2100?

Super benchmark results from this **** is like jump to mud and say i swim .

@Kaliz i run 2033 but from 1933 it is whea collector.
@Al75 same here core 0 4450

yeah.. thanks, i realized its not just an asus thing, the problem isnt a wrong reading.. core zero is actually at that speed, i am scratching my head on it but so far, didn't find any solution including multiple and multiple changes in bios to see if anything was eventually going to trigger something and fix it

Try tu use process lasso and change use for other cores
Wieard thing is he can boost higher but not in CINE
