Finally selling my 3090 Kingpin Hydro Cooper! I have been using this card since June of 2021 daily in my work/gaming PC. This GPU is still just crazy fast in 2024 and it really makes more sense now than ever with the 24GB of binned GDDR6X, which is why I have kept it so dang long. It will smoke any 3090Ti “Right out of the box” and once overclocked it is literally the fastest RTX3090 of all 3090/3090Ti’s on 3DMark with a 14900K/KF CPU..

I recently cleaned and fully restored the Hydro Copper waterblock to like new condition with fresh thermal pads and new O-Rings on 09.23.2023, I cleaned all of the copper up too. It is leak tested and ready to go for years and years to come.

Serious buyers only please.

Best GPU I ever owned, and the longest I have ever owned one haha. One of the last truly amazing GPU’s though. Thing is a 4K smasher even in 2024.

Must resist , must resist!!!

LE: Max clocks with it, what temp and voltage ?

The GDDR6X is extraordinarily good. +1,800 is doable for gaming. Using the Kingpin tool, I can dial a locked in 2,275Mhz on the core clock with a little extra NVVD of about 1.243V, and 1.100V set in MSI After Burner. And it will run games perfectly fine like this. Of course so long as your cooling is good.

I wish I could get it, but alas, not at the moment.

Really sad I can't buy that right now. GLWS

I have a 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra on water with a EKWB block but I want to get rid of the EKWB block.
(first EKWB product I've owned)
I was expecting a higher quality waterblock for price. (at least I got mine new on ebay 1/4 the price)
I question the EKWB long-term durability running chilled temps and not a fan of RGB plastic look.
unfortunately, there are few water block options for a 3090 Ti FTW3, especially if you want something metal and black instead of RGB acrylic prison-tech lookin.. lol!

I would happily replace my 3090 Ti FTW3 with this but here are my thoughts

- EVGA site products specs state slightly higher memory bandwidth and memory clock speeds with 3090 Ti Ultra compared to 3090 Kingpin.
Is this even noticable when running single monitor 1080p or 1440p at high FPS?

-Is the GDDR6 memory cooled also, like on 3090 ti ftw3 due to chip design?

- I want those ATX power connectors and not the 12VHPWR on my 3090 ti ftw3

- 3090 Kingpin would look slick with the my copper BartX ram blocks.

Long story short, I want that card instead my 3090 ti ftw3 ultra if the performance drop is marginal in 1440p low graphic high fps gaming
Thanks!

Thank you!
That sure is a slick lookin card.
Thank goodness I won't ever need 40 series and beyond to play Planetside 2!
The ram on this GPU runs very cool. I’d wager that it runs cooler than any 3090Ti’s ram actually. Half the ram is on the back side, and half on the front side, but that does make it dual rank which is advantageous. This video card uses a Optimus Cooling 3090 Kingpin Fujipoly 3MM thick full coverage rear thermal pad.

@520 watts load, with additional voltage sent to the GDDR6X compared to a 3090FE, and running +1,750 it runs 27-32C for Mem1/Mem2/Mem3 temps sensors with no fans or air blowing on the GPU. Memory Tjunction is 52C with no fans. Now this is with added voltage and fully OCed GDDR6X, you can increase the cards voltages to whatever you wish with the Kingpin tool.

Now, this is with a water temp of 15C. But remember the backside is not actively cooled at all. It’s just a thermal pad and backplate and also (no fans whatsoever) and the backside GPU2 never exceeds 33C for me.

Now, if you run the GDDR6X with default voltages something like your 3090Ti sees it will shave off about 7C in temps. So, low 20’s.

This card is setup correctly. And will provide temps so good that it won’t even make sense.

As for EKWB blocks yeah they are pretty chintsy. This block isn’t like that, anyways, I hope this helps.

Not sure how much faster it is. I guess you’d have to double check that during testing.
