Hello, I just build my first PC fews hours ago and having problem booting, I press the power button, the computer run but nothing showing on screen, the red light next to the ram is blinking, it just keep running about 10secs and then turn off and auto turn on again.
Below is the ram I am using:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231460
They said it compatible with that motherboard so I purchased this, but now I can't get my pc to boot, does anyone know how to fix this issue? is that the ram not compatible or I did something wrong?

Please help...

First thing's first, reset the CMOS and then try booting. That board comes with a jumper, so it's simple.

Next, make sure the RAM is fully seated correctly. The Asus P8P67 Pro has a different seating mechanism/method that's a little weird, but convenient. Try re-seating the RAM. Put the RAM in, and force it down, not TOO hard, but enough force to hear it "click" and then lock it in.

If the re-seating isn't doing the trick, then give the memOK button a try. It's possible for whatever reason the board cannot boot with the memory at its current timings/voltages.

Here's a video as an example:

First off, the memory should be in the blue slots, then the black slots. Two, it is possible that your cpu needs an increase in vtt voltage to be stable at 1866mhz.

I would use the feature that asus gave you and use the "memOK" button. Read up on how to use it in your manual, and that should solve the problem. Good luck.

You've tried the memOK switch, correct?
I tried hold the memOK button until it flashing and the system turn off and on then that light just keep flashing and still nothing on screen.

And there is the switch next to the memOK says EPU, what is that? Thanks

epu switch enables power monitoring, The system detects loadings and regulates power consumption.

Dude read the manual!

Try with just one stick of ram in either of the blue slots. Are you sure the ram is seated properly into the dimm slots ?? they are tight and need a good push into the socket

Sorry if this sounds so elementary, have you plugged it in the blue slot nearest to your CPU? On the manual it is the recommended setup. Also, make sure that both ends are pushed all the way down. It is really easy to forget pushing down hard on the end that does not have a clip on it.

Wow, it finally boot with one ram on the blue slot right side, tried left side (near CPU) but no luck..
The screen says New CPU... MEM ok, and CPU fan error??? I am using Corsair H50, I plugged the 3 pin cpu into the mobo as picture above? Is there something wrong with H50?

Update: I follow this video on youtube:
At 8:22 he connect the wire (4pin) into the motherboad but I didn't see any 4 pin comes with my H50, is that the problem?

On that picture, is the black cable on the left upper side the H50's cable? If so, that's your problem - the CPU fan slot on the board is the white piece to it's right. Give that a try.

Memory wise, the P8P67 needs to overclock 1866 ram for it to run at those speeds. The MemOK button should allow you to boot... so I'm guessing you just plugged the cpu fan in the wrong place.

Read the manual! I made the same mistake when building my mistake, and the manual solved all my problems.

EDIT: realized that's the pump... anyways, not sure what those pins to the left of the CPU fan pins are for.

you need to go into your bios and set your memory speed and timmings. The three pin fan header will be fine aslong as its the cpu one

check the manual for the correct socket, Did you not get a 4 pin adaptor in your h50 pack

Okay, The first screen (bios) temperature of the CPU is very high, about 66c at begin and it just going up to 90c after 30 seconds, I just scare overheat so I turn off the pc... is that normal or something wrong with my cpu cooling?

Sounds like you don't even have your pump connected.

Pump connects to CPU_Header and the fans connect to your power supply's 3 pin connector.

The pump is connected as picture in my fist post, but maybe something wrong, how do I know if the pump is running or not. I have Hyper 212 plus as well, should I use it instead.
