Hey everyone, I checked around but didnt see anywhere where owners of this phone can have a place to chat about it. Feel free to post anything and everything relating to your HTC Rhodium phone here.

I have one under AT&T and love it. I upgraded from the original Tilt and the difference is amazing. Everythng is more responsive and is just overall a better phone. I haven't done any ROM flashing yet but I did flash my Hard SPL to be prepared when I do.

Here are some links:

XDA-Developers. How can we discuss any HTC phone without mentioning them?

Feel free to post links that you use or share any information you have!

Update:

Courtesy of XDA Developers' NetRipper and iwfratz we now have a means to overclock our phone's processor. Considering the nature of this forum, it doesn't get much sweeter then this.

The Tilt2/TP2 is an amazing phone! It's like a customizable iPhone with a real keyboard!
I completly agree! It has the feel of an iPhone but just better

Which browser do you use? I am currently testing Skyfire right now. I also have Opera and Opera Mini in addition to IE. I plan on running the test from MobileSpeedtest.net. to see which one yields better speeds.

I've been focusing on choosing a ROM so have flashed a whole bunch of them. Some have had Opera 10 Mobile beta cooked into them but the EnergyROM has Opera Mobile 9.7, which I really like. IE is ok but seems to be a little slower.

I tried Skyfire on my old Blackjack II, and while it was really fast, the complete and utter disregard for security put me off so I'll never use it again. All rendering is done on the Skyfire servers to increase speed - the only problem is that someone can go to a website that you've logged in at and see your session.

For example, I went to www.nfl.com/fantasy to check my fantasy football team. Someone else was already logged in and I was able to access this person's team as if it were my own - had I wanted to be a jerk, I could have made some add/drop changes to his team.

So, if you're just going to check the news or something, it's fine - but never do anything on Skyfire that requires a log in.

Yeah skyfire is a definite no now. thanks for that. Im using opera mini for google searched and opera for other browsing.

Wow free?! Nice score!!!

Are you running the stock ROM? If so, check out the ones on XDA-Developers.com as some of them are awesome.

What apps have you guys found useful? I just bought GAlarm, which is a really nice alarm clock app. It wasn't too expensive at 5 euros (~$7.50) and is a lot better than the standard alarm.

My wife and I are also both hooked on Collapse Chaos.

And what kind of accessories do you guys use?

I've been using the screen protector that came with my phone. But I didn't line it up right and it's kind of peeling off. Do you guys know if I peel it off and clean it, if it will restick?

If I take a screen protector off, I won't reuse it because I can never get it to fit back with out bubbles or other particles or eeven fngerprints sticking to the back of it. When I upgraded my phone I got 50 bucks back from att in accessories so I got a three pack of screen protectors from them and those work great. They are thick and dont scratch and are amazing. Just take your sweeeeeet time putting them on and a pair of tweezers really help. I also got a plantronics bluetooth headset

. As far as other accessories I swear by the usb to 3.5mm/2.5mm/usb adapter that came with it. I love watching movies with a pair of headphones.

There was a online deal out where Microsoft employees get this phone for free but verifying emplyment was not required so it was posted on slickdeals

Snagged one up.

Yes I've been running on stock Rom because I heard changing it would void the warranty, and lucky for me I had to RMA my first one.

The 6.5 update should come out anyday now so I'll just wait

Where do you get your apps from? I know for a fact I haven't used my phone to its potential haha.

Thanks for the screen protector tip. Someone posted a deal in the deals forum for $10 off AT&T accessories. So I picked up a 3 pack today.

Check out the deals forum. It should still be on the first page.

I'm waiting for the soon-to-be release HTC HD2/Sprint Adonis. 1GHZ of raw power in a smartphone.

The HD2 looks to be pretty sweet. I'm running a ROM for it on my Tilt2 and really like the layout.

Only downside is lack of hardware keyboard - that's a deal breaker.

Yeah, it's supposed to void the warranty. However, you can flash back to the stock ROM and HTC will never be the wiser.

Versions 6.5.1 and 6.5.3 are even better than 6.5. There are some menus that require the stylus to use in 6.5 that have been reworked in 6.5.1 and 6.5.3.

There are some ok apps in the MS Marketplace. There are also a lot of discussions on XDA-Developers about WinMo apps here and here - that's where I've gotten most of mine.

Both my wife and I have a Tilt2. I'm currently running the Dec. 25 version of the Leo (Sense 2.5) MaxManilla EnergyROM. My wife's phone has TwoPumpChump's Sense 2.1 ROM on it.

The Tilt2/TP2 is an amazing phone! It's like a customizable iPhone with a real keyboard!

so which one do you prefer? i've been looking at options between the 2 and am torn between which i would like best.
i would like just about everything to work as it does currently on the stock tilt2 rom, but want more speed out of the phone.

I've settled on the EnergyROM. I'm currently running the Dec 25 Sense 2.5 Max Manilla build. I think there's a newer one that I'm going to try. But the one I'm running now seems to be very good.

Hey guys, been a verrrrry long time since I visited this thread. I know I'm bringing it back. I finally got around to flashing my phone because I was getting tired of the stock one. I'm running the March 9, 2010 version of Energy ROM with 2.1 Manilla. It works amazing. I had a friend with a nexus one say that this phone with this rom is just as fast and responsive as his. Gotta show xda a little love here.

Well I may be getting a Tilt 2 in a few weeks.....I'm waiting to see if HTC releases an Android based phone on AT&T. According to a guy at AT&T it's possible because apparently they're testing one on their network, but they may not release it.

HHmmm...........I was looking at that one as well. I need to pay with one IRL also.

Nevermind I remember why I disregarded that one: no physical keyboard. That = no go for me.

Well, If you like the stock rom, stick with it. But after a few weeks, I flashed to a different rom. IT ran much faster and came with tweaks and settings you could fiddle with to your hearts desire. As for apps, i suggest getting google maps, tcpmp media player, the you tube app for windows mobile, and total commander ( its a much better version of file explorer). As far as accessories goes, I highly recommend a screen protector and I couldnt live without the usb adapter to headphones which usually comes with the phone.

Does anyone know where awe can get replacement partsfor this phone? My speaker is playing very distorted. There's no damage to this phone and I don't know why its playing like that. I tried hard resetting and its still the same way. Any help here would be great
