I've been searching newegg and i find that many coolers have better CFM yet are lower priced. What is the BEST PCI cooler from newegg in your opinions? I am hoping to keep it under 20$. Ty

Either one, i have no problem with the temps on either. I just want the best for overall performance since i am starting to overclock the rig a bit more.
Try this. Click.
But I also reccomend some kind of an exhaust fan, because you maybe adding more cooler air, but after time, you'll get warm air stuck inside the case. So an exhaust fan will help. That's just my 2 Cents.
Thanx, I already have a 120mm in front taking in, and a 120mm at the back taking out. I was planning to add another 120mm at the back and then stick an 80mm on the side. Hows that sound?
well i think those exhaust things under the card would be sucking air out from under it so it would be sucking air out while the card is trying to suck air into it the opposite direction... maybe on the bottom or something, but it should be something that blows ON to the card.
it has speed switch on the back... and coupled with my VF700.. im running at 34C core temp on my 7900... pretty good if you ask me. with both on lowest speeds

EDIT: i dont like those blower style coolers they work against your GPU HS...
Well for your information, my dual slot Antec Super Cyclone blower takes 10°C of my GFX card temp under load, by sucking air from my 8800GTS and exhausting it out the back. It's just mad!
That 3DEdge fan looks neat. I'm trying to stick with NewEgg though. The blower under the 8800 from the link looks like it helped, from what i saw on the temperature tests. I think i might stick with the blower under the 7600GT. I also have http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...3877&CatId=804 or something to the effect of that at the very bottom of my case to take air from the hard drives. I still have a few more PCI slots left, i just want to put a blower under my graphics card and then have ^that^ exhaust fan at the very bottom.
With an 80mm at the front of the case and a 120mm at the back, that should give me plenty of air flow for moderate overclocking right?
The more fan's in the proper air in / out configuration usually helps cooling, even if the pc is good now, it somewhat extend's it's life a bit to.
And of course, stabalizes overclocking because of less heat or at least, heat removable is easier
And the dual slot fan at the back (the 80mm a few posts from the top), Looks like it'll certainly help. I might put a few of those in (a few meaning until I go sli / crossfire).
I have a spot to put a fan where a tunnel is near the top of the side, and a spot at the bottom near the cards. Would a 120mm be better near the bottom to cool off the PCI cards? I already have a 120mm near the top at the back and the power supply it putting out some air too.
So, the question now is to put the 120mm near the top of the side panel, or near the bottom? =P
I'm guessing both? My perspective, the more fan's, properly directed for incoming air, then directed air towards proper components (cooling it while directing it), and sending it out in a specific area (preferably out the top / rear). It becomes quite effective overall.
its a shame its not out yet but Tt is going to release the TMG nd5 for the 8800s
anyone ever USED the Tt TMG SL1? It looks like a nice fan... i like how it has it's exhaust going out the pci slot. but only 10 cfm?
