Hey all,

I got Apevia X-superalien case.

It has 6 80mm fans - 2 front, 2 back, 1-side, and 1-top.
I was thinking of modding the case a little bit. This is not because I really need lower temperatures (with my parts what I have is running good), its just for fun and to see what I can do with the dremel kit sitting and catching dust.
I was thinking about changing the side and top 80mm's to 120's. The side one cannot be thicker than 25mm or it would not fit because of my Nirvana 120. Also I do not want the new 120mm fan to be loud (the 80's that came with the case are really quiet and push decent amount of air). On top there is at least 2 more cm spare so most likely 38mm thick would fit.
The only thing I do not know is which fans to choose. Reading all ratings and reviews on newegg, buy, zipzoom, and other sites did not help. Simply to many to choose from.
That's why any suggestions regarding the fans will be really welcomed. Also if You guys think I should/should not switch the fans, or switch others than side and top - any ideas are welcomed.

I found that the stock fans were not enough to cool. I replaced all the stock with ones that could move some air, also having negitive air less air in and more air out is a good way to go. Panaflow is a good brand.

well first off the 1200 mm fans will be quieter and will also push more air, so no worries there. Yate loon makes good fans, however they are sleeve bearing and so if you mount them horizontally they die quite fast. Scythe makes good fans, the s flex's are nice and so are the slip streams and the ultra kaze.
oh, and are you looking for led fans or no?

LED, no LED - no difference - so far all i got inside the case has blue LED. One out of 6 80's has no LED anymore, few others are dimmed and will probably go out soon. The whole case is black with just a little red accent in front.
I really wanted to put 1 120 in the back but the case is made this way that max room is 11 cm. I was thinking about putting 1 100mm on back but am not sure if it would be betted just get 2 new 80s with more cfm there...
