Currently i own the rig that's listed under my page.
I notice alot of strange drops when i am playing a 5on5 match at CS:GO.
For example: my fps drops from 180 to 100 in close quarter fire, Or when i am standing in a smoke, it goes even down to 70

I know my rig is pretty old, but i also heard that cs:go isn't rlly a high demanding game.
Would it still be better for me to go with a : 3570K + GTX 660 for example? Or will this be a overkill for cs:go? ( I don't rlly want to upgrade for 1 single game

, but if this makes my game run smoother i will do it because im a hardcore cs player)
I also own a 120 hz monitor ( Samsung 2233rz)
And my current specs are:
Intel Q8400
Nvidia GTX 550 Ti
8GB DDR3 1333 (2x4)
Samsung 2233RZ
Hope some people can help me out deciding if it's necessary to upgrade or not.
