Hello,

I have OC my i7 13700K. I have lowered the frequencies to 5ghz P and 4ghz E.
I prefer to have very good temperature.

With OCCT I go up to 60 degrees maximum. But in idle I am between 40 and 44 CPU package with HWmonitor.

I find it strange to be so high, no?

I set my Vcore to 2.10. It's stable. The LLC on turbo.
And disabled all power saving options in the bios.

Do you have an idea ? Thanks

Ok. Well if you disabled all power saving features it’s going to sit at full vcore and full boost constantly. So hence why you get higher idle temps.
edit: I would set bios back to factory defaults and then sync all your cores on 5.0 if that’s all the speed you want to run then leave rest auto then it will idle down properly and only boost and run cool like you want. Or I’m sure you can set somewhere in bios to max package temp of 60c or whatever you want and leave rest auto then it can at least boost to 5.3 stock if temp is under 60c. Get more out of your processor.
