The tab or indent key uses 6 spaces...just do it manually for the same effect

 

Is there a way to do this instead of manually? Even on OCN, when i do it, it just appears as just (1 spacing) even though i did 6. The normal "tabbing" can be done on MS word and lotus notes but i do not know how to do it on web based emails. Any ideas?

Highlight the word you wish to Indent, and it should only indent that word.

Apparently in hotmail, it still indents the whole line... Any other ideas?

Are you using the new or old Hotmail?

In the New Hotmail, it indents just that line.

Using the new "live" one. When i indent something, its indents the whole line and i cannot get the effect i want.

Time<2 tab spaces>Date<1 tab space>Setting
1000<2 tab spaces>19/04<1 tab space>Full load
1100<2 tab spaces>19/04<1 tab space>Quarter load

You get what i mean right? When you do it in word or notepad, so everything is aligned.

 

I have attached a notepad file as an example. I want to do exactly what i did in the file in hotmail, gmail and even OCN forums. Any way to do this?

 

I haven't been able to work it out either. Just set it up in Notepad and Copy-Paste.
