This is my first custom water cooling installation.
I have an EK Supreme HF full nick water block, but the instructions don't say how far to tighten it down.
The block has a slight bow to it, and my CPU is lapped. My understanding is that when "properly" tightened, the water block will be flat against the CPU.
Other than just trying out a few mounts to get a feel for it, is there a way to know when it is tight enough?
Should the springs be fully compressed, or should there be a gap between the coils?
With a properly installed back plate, Is there such a thing as to tight?
