I found this great deal on Amazon for a pair of studio headphones and a studio mic. I'd like to use them on my PC - but how would I approach plugging in a XLR Mic into a PC to use it for audio recording? Thanks

^ As far as I am aware an audio interface is just about the only option you have. I have a Saffire 6 that I have been pretty happy with.

Im guessing your soundcard is mini trs for the mic input? All you need is a $5-$10 cable.

A condenser mic will certainly need a preamp and high impedance headphones may need more power then what an integrated solution will provide.

That soundcard you're selling might actually be up to the task if it's EMU10K1 based and can run with KX drivers
