Windows 10 can silently install additional drivers even if you disabled the "Install manufacturer apps and whatever" in Device Installation settings or enabled appropriate policy in gpedit. I found out it installed driver for my Brother printer on the network which I normally don't use with my desktop.

Go to regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\DriverSearching and set SearchOrderConfig to 0. This should stop it, I think.

Edit: Disregard. I've been reinstalling nvidia driver recently and windows decided to install a new driver 1 minute after boot even with the SeatchOrderConfig set to 0 or to 3. So, basically changing it from default 1 does nothing. Disabling the network adapter helps but it's kinda obvious.
