Hey all, to keep it short I'm a lefty that uses these keys in this fashion in conjuction with the numpad to play games. I'm in need of a new keyboard(as I spilled wine on my old one and ruined it) with these types of keys, preferably non mechanical, but I'd be fine with a mechanical if it's not too loud. Anyone with recommendations, or if anyone knows the specific name for these kinds of keyboards so I can look? This is my old keyboard. I would get another if they sold it anywhere.

Sorry

I've never in my life seen a keyboard with that type of layout. What sort of layout is that?

I just bought a keyboard with a similar layout yesterday. It's called the iBox Ceres. Unfortunately for you, I bought this for experimenting with modding the rubber domes and this one was the cheapest UK/US layout keyboard I could find. The build quality is what you would expect from a 5 dollar (including 27% tax) keyboard. It flexes like a sheet of paper, the key actuation force is uneven, just horrible. On the other hand it's the quietest keyboard I used and after spending 2 hours modding each of the rubber domes it's great to type on. :) Also, the size is really compact for a full layout keyboard.
Don't ask me about shipping, I think it's made by a Polish company and sold mostly in Eastern Europe.

Was there a specific one in that line that has the keys I need vertically? I didn't see any.

Ah interesting. That is indeed the type of keyboard I need, but maybe a bit lower quality than I'd like to go. Dang if only the keyboard I had was still being sold.

I dont think that has a proper name, it looks just like a custom layout for whoever made that keyboard, its definitely not a standard or well-known "layout".

Look into the Logitech K250, K350 or Logitech MK550. They use something similar.

IMHO, Non-standard keyboard layouts will haunt you forever if you get accustomed to using them exclusively. If you get comfortable with the standard layouts by learning to use different keys for gaming, shifting the keyboard, etc., you wont have to dig & search for a new keyboard everytime you spill a drink or a company goes under.

/been there. SUPER glad I switched off.
