There's weight, weather, time of day, and altitude restrictions, but the real problem that I see here is the fact that the operator of the drone needs to maintain visible contact with the UAV without the use of cameras or remote imaging systems. If Amazon wants this implemented in the US, it seems to me that they're going to have to throw a lot of money at the govt. in order to get some sort of new regulation passed which allows them to deploy drones to remote locations. I'm not an expert on this, however, so there may be other ways of getting around this (i.e. perhaps having someone with a pilot's license?). It'll be interesting to see how Amazon plays its cards.
