Hello there people.
Before i beging, ive allready posted a reply to an old thread from 2012 i think and noone seem to be looking at it, so ill make a new thread here, hoping someone will actually take a look at it and help me.
I have a huge problem with my graphics card.
Im using Sapphire AMD Radeon HD6670 GDDR5 1gb card and im getting this "Driver has stopped working and succsessfully recovered" errors..I am also getting BSOD saying that some driver atimkag.sys or something like that crashed....
This is hapening even when im using Chrome, wathcing videos, or playing games.
I have tried everything in order to solve this, installed newest drivers, switched several different versions of Windows, clean my PC from dust, i even turned off my CD ROM because i thought maybe the power 500W isnt enough for it...
Im not much of a PC expert in this stuff but ive tried everything i could find on internet in order to solve this problem, nothing worked, so i decided to try overclocking my card.
A friend of mine told me that the most probably its Votlage whats causing problem with my Graphics card and i also think thats an issue.
I would be very greatefull if u could help me to solve this problem and i will try to explain everthing about it.
Im currently using Sapphite TRIXX program which allows me to underclock GPU and Memory because when running even on default values my card is crashing..
Default values are 800 / 1000 and im currently using 600 / 800. This didnt solve a problem but crashes are hapening less frequently..
I dont know what is default value of VDDC on this card, but when i look at TRIXX it shows its set on 1100, and ive also set an option in this program called "Force constant voltage" but this doesnt seem to be working because when i look at GPU - Z the voltage is constantly changing from the lowest 900 to 1100 which, i believe, it should be by default?
So, what i want to do is to find out what should be default voltage of my card, and is it suppose to be changing constantly like its hapeing to me?
I want to overclock card Voltage, by flashing Graphics Card BIOS. I have never done this before and i dont want to do something wrong, so please, write me step by step guide how to do it.
I watched a video about OCing voltage but most of programs used for it are working only for Nvidia cards, here is video link so u see what i mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGvEKYvf3Ac
I want to do the same for my AMD card with a program ATIWinFlash as it seems the most simple to use.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
