I'm trying to overclock my 2x16GB Hynix CJR kit. Currently it's running stable at 3733 16-19-19-34@1.35V. I tested with memtest86 overnight and it passed. Stock XMP profile is 3466 16-18-18-36@1.35V. I tried 3800 and it would not boot even if I increased the voltage. Any suggestions? The subtimings are on auto so I'm sure I can tighten those. More info in the photo.

Hint
Use Memtest HCI

My Memtest HCI is full customized
VIA either the 5G network or sattelight network
Connects to professional team of engneers that calibrate my PC RAM and overclocks it 24/7 every minute manually also full auto

try updating your bios to the latest AGESA and see if you're able to somehow boot 3800mhz..else that's already the limit for your processor (1866mhz on the IF Clocks)
I increased the DRAM voltage to 1.4V and it boots with 3800 16-19-19-34. I ran memtest HCI for over 100% and was stable. If I increase to 3866 then it will not boot if the infinity fabric is 1:1 even if I increase DRAM voltage further.. Seems like 1900 is the max infinity fabric I can do.

Not going to detail support you in overclocking RAMs
Thats all I'm releasing on guide to overclock RAMs

If you want to try and challange the inifnity frabic overclocking
Try FSB and or north bridge overclocking fucntions

For tigtening the timings just follow the guide
Then leave unknowns on auto

With cjr memory you can usually take tRFC down to about 261ns try lowering your tRFC setting until you get close to that valule Dram calc suggest 504 or 497 at 3800. You will get a performance boost from that. Here's my cjr memory settings at 3400 cl14 with the tRFC set at 445(261.7647ns).

What is your latency?

My latency is 64ns, which is probably about as good as I'll get with my 2600x(zen+) cpu. 60 or below on your cpu is pretty decent. Looks like there may still be some wiggle room on the tRFC you could try lowering it more to get closer to 261.xx ns but I've never run my ram at that high a speed so I don't know, my infinity fabric craps out above 3400. Some of your sub timings are better than what Dram Calculator suggest, some are quite a bit more. Have you tried the suggestions in Dram calculator? Below are suggested settings from version 1.7.0 and 1.7.3.

I never had any luck getting DRAM Calc to work. It would spit out random timings that aren't bootable. I loosened the timings slightly because it was unstable so now it's stable at 3733 16-19-19-34 with 61.5ms latency.

I would love some tips on tuning my CJR's for an intel build to make warzone run a bit snappier on my guest build for when friends come over!
2x16gb C16 3600mhz dual rank memory
8700k 5ghz 0avx
gigabyte z390m gaming (T-topology board)

Should I am for 3800 with similar timings? or push for 4000+ cl18? Anyone have some quick and dirty settings for intel to start? I hear CJR gets quite hot past 1.40-42 ish is that correct? Any tips or suggestions regarding command rate?
