and with this CUDIMM kit i also could boot 8800/2200 with 9700X... wow!! DDR5-8700 runs almost, 8600 fully stable in YC.
Very nice, I can boot up to 8700 but I cannot get 8600 stable. 8500 I cannot do very easily either, so I am stuck with 8400 GDM on maximum. I ended up dailying 8000 with really tight timings instead.

This is so funny because I am in the same situation.

$2000 on RAM kits
$2000+ on motherboards

All to circle back to what a $99 motherboard can do with a $130 kit of ram.

I just went ahead and bought the Apex, but I'm on the 5th CPU. Keep itching to find a good 9950X3D but can't really justify the additional cost for 3D v-cache which does.. precisely nothing for me.

Like i said on the ZT discord, very nice clockspeed controll on your pyprime run
Only 0.57mhz below the limit (y)
i had a couple more scores, but with bclk OC , Benchmate is reporting too high clocks. Had a 1:25:121 but it was 5007 MHz :p Next up is the 9800X3D , i supposse it 20 seconds faster? i remember pyprime 2b being under 7seconds?

Looking forward to seeing your results, but dont get your hopes too high, 32B dont really benefit much from v-cache, only the 2B bench does (y)

Mine does not run any cooler with 8000+ speeds vs 6400 / 6600 with high VSOC

However, mine is delidded so maybe that is another variable.

I'd think there would be a diff between single ccd and dual.

On Intel 11900k, the power consumption did go up with gear 1 over 2.

Perhaps check the package power and not necessarily the temperatures.
