Replacing molex power connector on gigabyte 3080 gaming OC

Hi guys,
I'm one of those that got a card with the first iteration of the insanely bad molex power connector. The pins are all over the place, two of them got pushed out when I first connected my PCI-E power cables, and after some research, I found out it was a very common problem with this card (and the eagle, and the 3090 too).
Since I couldn't RMA the card directly through Gigabyte in my country, it was up to the seller to handle it. They basically said that if I return it (its got like a 4 year warranty) then I go straight back to the back of the cue for 3080's. So I decided to fix it myself but reseating the connectors and fastening them with hot glue.
Fortunately, it worked, but I am worried about for how long. Maybe next time I disconnect cables and reconnect them, the pins will get pushed out again.
I also read some ended up with fried cards because of this issue.
I know it is possible to replace it, they are basically cheap plastic crap connected to the motherboard, and you can remove them easily.
My problem is, I am not a super technical guy, so I don't know what to buy. What replacements are compatible with my card?
On forums they state they are Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 connectors. But I don't really know enough about that kinda stuff.
I need to get the right parts, so the connect to the card itself and the pins are the right ones etc. I really have no idea.
Can anyone here with superior technical knowledge maybe point me in the right direction? Ignore the red squares on the pic, i snatched it from another forum post.

Since you don't have the tools or experience building your own cables, you can save yourself some trouble by ordering a replacement cable from Moddiy in China: Gigabyte RTX 30 PCB Flat 8 Pin to PCIE 8 Pin Custom Adapter Cable

I'm in the USA and have ordered from them a number of times in the past without any problems, before the pandemic. I'd query them first and ask if they'd have any trouble now shipping to you where you're located.

Good luck!

Holy Crap dude, are u joking. Weeks and months of googling, and I never found these. This is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Dude, thank you.
I can't really get a good look at the picture, you are saying that the larger end of these can plug right into my card? So i just need to order two of these and replace them with the ****ty ones that are connected now?

EDIT: looks like thats exactly what i can do, nevermind, this is as easy as it gets. Lifesaver dude

I am about at the point where I'm going to just solder the PCB side of the connectors straight to a PCI-E cable from the PSU. So. Cut off the 6+2 pin and solder on the PCB side 8 pin without ever needing that whole connector block at all. Since my card is water-cooled that whole block just hangs there, it's not even attached to the card anymore and just hangs between the PSU cables and the card..

EDIT: just saw the above post. Instantly ordering those. That way I don't have to cut up my PSU wires. Amazing! I don't even care what it costs.

So, with those cables I can remove that whole plastic block and just plug the PSU PCI-E in directly right? I wanna be sure before I order them lol.

If you use them as extension cables with the cables you got with your power supply, yes, that's what MODDIY is selling in the link I originally provided. Don't try plugging Moddiy's cable directly into your PSU, that's not what they're made for.

One last thing: you want to keep in mind that the plastic block that we've been discussing is strain relief for the cabling between the power supply and the small extension cable that plugs into the the gpu's pcb. You can remove the plastic block, but make sure you provide some sort of strain relief in its place, even if just using some plastic ties downs or what have you. Otherwise, a day may come when you're busy doing something inside your case and accidentally yank on the psu cable; and in doing so, damage the connector soldered directly to the gpu pcb (if not the pcb itself). Just some additional words of advice.

Point is, the plastic block is hanging off the connectors now. It has a EVGA FTW3 Hybrid block on it and a Accelero IV backplate so I don't have anything to mount that block to. That's why I want to remove it because if the weight and it looks ugly. If I get 20CM MODDIY cables I can tuck those into the PSU bay through the cable hole for the PCI-E and make a super clean look with no strain either.

Will order tomorrow. Let's see how long it takes for them to get to the Netherlands.

My Bykksi block came with adapters, so it was easy and nice to ditch the Gigabyte connector.
