You can save and load 8 different bios profiles in BIOS (Advanced Mode) / Tool / ASUS Overclock Profile.
Saving the profile here to an usbdrive is an option as well.

Thanks. I saved the settings to USB, but it cannot be recorded from there again to bios

You can save them to USB as txt file or a CMO file, the CMO file can be reloaded, the txt file can not.

I understand. I thought the settings could be registered again, thanks

Hey guys i want to buy a 32gb ram 3600 cl16 for my CH6 with the last bios, i have a 5800x cpu. Any suggestion for a not very expensive kit that for sure is working without any problem? thanks.

PS. I dont care the kit have LED etc etc :)
Every 3600MHz kit should work, the C6H has no problem running even 4 sticks at that speed.

The Ballistix kit (BL2K16G36C16U4B) from Crucial would be a good choice.

unavailable or out of stock everywhere :(
I forget Crucial has ended the production of the Ballistix kits last year, sorry.

The Corsair Vengeance kit (cmn32gx4m2z3600c16) is the budget option.
The G.Skill Flare X kit (F4-3200C14D-32GFX) is the one if you want a deep dive into overclocking.

...the FlareX is a b-die kit, so dont worry about its "stock" 3200MHz, your cpu will fail sooner than the sticks.:devilish:

I have a question regarding pcie lanes:
I am running a C6H with
  • 5800X,
  • 4x16 GB RAM,
  • 1 GPU (6900xt, pcie 3.0x16),
  • 1 nvme SSD (pcie 3.0),
  • 2 sata SSDs,
  • 2 sata HDDs
Do i have any pcie lane capacity left? Can i add more sata SSDs without limiting my GPU or nvme SSD? If yes, how many?

Thanks

You can use all SATA ports. SATA ports are connected to the chipset that have a dedicated PCIE x4 connection to the CPU and is not effected by other PCIE connections.

Hey guys, was wondering if I'm blind or just stupid. I have a Crosshair VI Hero Extreme, and I recently upgraded to a 5800X3D. I wanted to setup an undervolt, there's guides like this that show PBO Curve Optimiser settings, but I can't find a PBO option anywhere in the BIOS. Does X370 not support that function? I'm running the latest BIOS, v8702. Cheers.

PBO options are hidden for 5800X3D, but even unhidden there is no Curve Optimizer support for this board.

You can still set CO with PBO2 Tuner within windows: How-to-undervolt-AMD-RYZEN-5800X3D-Guide-with-PBO2-Tuner/README.md at main · PrimeO7/How-to-undervolt-AMD-RYZEN-5800X3D-Guide-with-PBO2-Tuner

Edit: Sorry I see you have X3D CPU so it's probably not there.

I Have the non-Extreme and it's in:

Advanced>Amd Overclocking

Accept the warning.

then:

Precision Boost Overdrive> Set the PBO setting to Advanced

see Curve Optimizer

Hope this helps.

There are 32 GB of those rams, but I couldn't work 3600 MHz smoothly. :(

There is no Pbo on this card for that processor. However, it is made over Windows with a program.

3600MHz even with 4 sticks should not be a big problem for the 5700X. Maybe you've left some voltages (vsoc, vddp, ccd/iod) on auto ?
yes i don't know much about ram OC. :(

Hi there. I have a situation here. CVI extreme motherboard. Boot failure with code F9.
Bios reset, BIOS FLASHBACK, try to boot with only one stick - all failed.
****
I was already giving up - tried as a last resort to boot with one stick of memory but changed its placement: from the last memory slot to 1st memory slot - miracle -boots up.
Tried to change location to last mem slot - boot failure again. tried to boot with 1-3 slot configuration - boots and works fine. 2-4 slot configuration - fails again.
next: 1-2-3 memory slots full-4th slot empty - boots and works fine. Now all memory slots full-boots and works fine.
Can somebody explain to me why this has happened?
thanks in advance

I was running out of space in my NVMe drive so I bought a new one. In lack of cheaper last gen PCIE 3.0 units I was forced to buy a gen 4 drive, more specifically te WD 850X during current black friday sales. The thought of performance penalty of running PCI 3.0 on this thing is burning in my soul. Is there anything I can do to tune up it up to bridge that gap?

That's very weird, I am aware that reseating the sticks can sometimes remove dirt and oxydation from the contacts and make the system stable again but you are having recurring issues after multiple attempts. The only time I had a similar experience was due to faulty memory sticks. You didnt mention the memory part number or brand, neither timings so it's hard to confirm or dispel memory fail theory.
