Rx 7800XT Low Gpu usage + FPS CAPPED under 180 fps in 2K and 1080P Settings

Hello everyone, I am facing an issue regarding my build:

Rx 7800XT Gaming OC Gigabayte
CPU Ryzen 7 5800x
ram 32gb(16gbx2) 3200mhz corsair lpx
MOB Asus Rog B550 F WIFI 2
PSU MSI 750W
Monitor Samsung Odyssey g5 2k 165hz Ips

I am playing COD Warzone and my fps got capped below 180fps whether I am playing on 1440p or 1080p.

Gpu usage does not get fulfilled at 100% usage usually between 60% and 80% on both 2k and 1080p. and power consumption is always below 200w

When I run stress test in Adrenaline It runs perfectly and the gpu reach its power consumption with no issue at all.
Please help me solve the issue I have been trying to solve the issue since I got it.

Note that i do not have freeseync activated or fps limiter activated to mach my monitor refresh rate:

How come a rayzen 7 5800x bottlnech an RX 7800XT ??

BEFORE BUYING THIS RIG I did my homework to avoid being bottlenecked and many people were recommending rayzen 7 5800x with rx 7800xt.

I would agree with if I had for example rayzen 5 5600x or i5 12400f or less.

But not with rayzen 5800x and rx 7800xt.

i fix the cpu issue but still see bottneck now my cpu reach its limit 4800mhz

I am supposed to be playing at around 300fps at the mode in screenshot but the fps still capped below 180 fps on both resolution 1080 and 2k ?

Do you suggest overclocking my rams ? to 3600mhz
if so can you help video for that please ? I have corsair vengeance lpx 32gb 3200

When it's capped it stays at that certain fps, this is not capped. It's bottlenecked, it's limited by the CPU. Just to be sure set GPU min clock like 200 MHz below game clock in MSIAfterburner ( might be AMD weirdness with GPU getting stuck on lower core clock ).

I can't help you with RAM overclocking, there is lots of information on youtube though.

When I saw the 180 number my first Thought was “monitor limitation”. My second thought was “why would anyone who isnt a pro fps gamer functionally care? 180fps is way above what most people can see anyway. The ’problem’ is the card runs cool and smooth. I myself would actually try to cap it lower. Like 120fps”

I’ll take “doesn’t automatically mean…”. Which is, I think, what you meant anyway.
Yes, I word things differently sometimes so it's faster to type and it means exactly the same thing.

With all due respect.

I am pro I paly warzone competitve my current rank is Iridiscent trying to rank upo myself up to top 250.

Bewside, my friends with the same gpu as mine is getting 300fps in 1080p and 250 in 2k.
The only diffrent is cpu he run as far as I remember 78003xd.
There was a difference it should be only from 20fps to 50fps not what in my case.

The fps is limited on both resolution.
7800x3D Is lot faster than 5800x, I imagine 7800x3D runs +100 fps in Warzone while playing in big map with other players.

Would upgrading to rayzen 7 5700x3d fix the issue in your opinion cause that all what i can affor withinm my current pocket

If you haven't deliberately limited frame rate somewhere (fps cap or vsync), if you can increase resolution without reducing frame rate, the GPU is not the bottleneck...CPU/memory performance is.

A 5800X is usually a reasonable CPU to pair with a 7800 XT GPU, but context is important. Your use case is one where you want a significantly faster CPU, because your targeting a very high frame rate floor, which is almost wholly dependent on how quickly the CPU can prepare frames. That 5800X will definitely limit Warzone FPS.

Tuning the CPU and memory you have will help, but you're looking at maybe a 10-15% improvement from that, if you're lucky. Something like a 7800X3D really would be ~50% faster.

I just want to have stable performance and my GPU being utilized 100% as it should be.
GPU usage isn't going to significantly increase without using more demanding graphical settings, or getting a faster CPU, as the GPU is not currently your bottleneck.

Also when I run amd fsr 3 I get 100gpu utilization and higher fps but those are generated not real.
That higher GPU utilization comes from the overhead in generating extra frames.

Win 11 is not the issue.
The CPU is.

5700X3D would probably be modestly faster, but I don't think I could justify replacing a 5800X with one. A while back I went from a 5800X to a 5800X3D and saw some worthwhile gains, but the 5700X3D is clocked a fair bit slower than the 5800X3D.
