USB ports are at the top.Originally Posted by 47 Knucklehead

This is about the 5th company that I've seen do that in recent releases.
Unless I'm missing something, I guess no optical drives, no USB or headphone/mic ports, etc. Maybe it's on top somewhere.
I agree for the price, since I had three of them. But the TJ11 top them all.
Except Silverstone has done that with the FT02 which came out quite a few years ago. It comes with the territory of the rotated mobo.
I guess Silverstone is doing their own thing when everyone's going 200mm except for Bitfenix (230mm)There's also a 1x 120 mm fan slot on top and included are 2x 180 mm AP181 fans (with 600/900/1200 RPM settings at 17/25/34 dBA), downward compatible with 3x 120 mm fans or 2x 140 mm fans.
The Article is mislabeled. It comes with the white AP182 fans as you can see in the second photo.
There's always been a windowed version. The ODD goes on the motherboard/right side, the window will be on the left side.
Well, it would look... big. Something like their crown case or big origenae case. But quite good imo if its brushed aluminium (except silverstone branding would be turned by 90 degrees). But looking at the case again and again I actually dont like that front isnt completely flat.
From what I see, slim odd is on the right side while window would be on the left side of the case.
A window on the left would only allow you to view the back of the mobo.Originally Posted by lugal

I consider myself an enthusiast. I use my blu-ray player at-least once a week. Only way to import my movies and convert them to the file format I need for my devices.
Nice case though, would have definitely considered it before I went primarily SFF. Though I still have my beloved FT02 in my closet for when I get a larger place.SilverStone Announces Compact Raven RV05 Case at CES
This is very clearly not a Raven design though. Doesn't take a massive Silverstone enthusiast to notice that.
It's still a raven case though ( according to the article ). And after last years FT04 and RV04 then being a Silverstone enthusiast you'd be able to tell they don't much care what you think is a raven or fortress design
Citation needed. Especially with conflicting information like this. Which clearly looks a lot more like it is from the Raven lineup and uses the same name.
Err, what? They're still consistent with their Raven and Fortress differences.
Uhm, this threads source? Unless you can find another article saying this case is indeed a fortress case.

Then we can agree to disagree. Because I ( and many others ) feel like both 04's were flops in their respective designs for the rv and ft series.
You mean Tom's hardware, which is who we're saying probably messed up? Or Silverstone's facebook page which clearly shows a very different exterior? I can't say you seem much like a Silverstone enthusiast if you can't even tell the brand's product lines apart at a glance, they're not exactly subtle.
