So... trying to update my bios to the EUFI bios (downloaded from gigabyte website, for my board). I am trying to use @bios because i think it rocks, but I keep getting "Bios vendor is not correct!"

Not sure how to proceed from here. Should I worry about EUFI bios? Or is there an advantage to stay with F10?

I'm unsure on what utility it is talking about. @bios is how their updates usually work, works with Windows. I'm, honestly, a bit befuddled.

When you extract the bios from the exe you will get 3 files... autoexec.bat , FLASHEFI.EXE, and Z68XPUD3.U1G. You have to do it in DOS and then just run autoexec.bat or type FLASHEFI Z68XPUD3.U1G . For a guide how to make a flash drive bootable to a DOS environment see here

Thanks...

Edit: Just flashed it. Worked flashlessly. +rep

I followed the guide and cannot get this to work for me. It says Not ready reading drive C then gives the options to Abort, Retry, Ignore, Fail?

I'm not sure what I did wrong but if I type in autoexec.bat, it does FLASHEFI Z68XPUD3.U1G then gives the same error. Please help?

EDIT: It's worth noting I have the rev. 1.0 of the GA-Z68XP-UD3 mobo
