So I have a ton of texture mods installed and I think there are still a bunch of blurry textures.

Here are a few mods I have installed.
Skyrim 2k HD Textures
WATER - Water and Terrain enhancement redux
Serious HD Retexture Skyrim
Realistic Smoke and Embers
Lush Tress
Lush Grass
Landscape Texture Pack WIP
Darkstar Textures Armor
Millenia Weapon Retexture Project
Improved Rock and mountain textures
Highres Roads
A Realistic Hope ENB

Here are some bad looking screenshots

I think some of those look pretty bad so I'm wondering if I've installed too many texture mods or if they aren't being installed correctly. I'm using NMM to install the mods and i'm getting all my mods from skyrim nexus.

Unless that is how they are supposed to look? But if they look shoddy to you guys some help would be appreciated to get the textures working correctly.

I get 60fps constant.

Idk that shield just bugs the hell out of me, it looks so low res......

The pictures on skyrimnexus appear to look better than all of those. Maybe I'm just imagining it.

I second that!

You're installing them wrong. When using NMM, it does not overwrite things properly. You need to do it manually.

MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL!! If the texture mod doesn't change the textures of the specific things you're looking at... then they will stay the same as vanilla. I have close to 300 texture mods... I've got everything from rabbits, to chickens, to clouds, to ropes, to barrels... to tomatoes... to shields... retextured. One mod is not simply retexturing the ENTIRE game.

Follow that guide and you're going to get most things covered. Then whenever you spot something you do not like, go to the nexus and find a retexture for it.

My shields after following that guide:

Be prepared for A LONG PROCESS, if you want to do it right. It took me like 5-6 hours. Plus downloading like 8 gigs of mods.

Even the best looking and most polished games have some few ugly textures here and there, that get noticeable on occassions...
I figured that but I guess I was expecting too much.
