I don't know how to explain it, but its not a regular click, its more of a clickity sound.
I will post video in a bit for you guys to hear so you know what I'm talking about, but it's bothering me so much when I type, It's on the left side towards the middle of the spacebar
It is a CM Storm Trigger.

I dont know if something is loose or what, but I just got it over the summer.

Anyone have any ideas?

What color switches? What color switch does the spacebar have?

MX Browns, don't know what the spacebar has. But I'm sure it's not because of it being a different switch, it's just something wrong with it.

I think I may have the same problem as you. On my Corsair K90 on the left side of the spacebar, when I tap it, it makes a clicking sound as if the spacebar was loose. The center and right side is fine and makes a solid mechanical sound. Mind if I can hear some recording of the sound?

Well again, the video is private, so there's no way for us to hear the noise. It's probably related to the stabilizer or switch, so pop of the spacebar and see what's making the click imo.

Is there a way to remove a keycap without a keycap opener? I don't have one

It sounds like a weak/bad spring to me, but I'm not positive that's what it is. The reason I say this is because I originally received my Poker (clears and 62g springs) with a 62g spring for the spacebar and it sounded almost identical to that. If you don't have a puller, you should be able to get it off the stabilizers and switch using a credit card on each side.
If for some reason, the spring is ruined, I have some black and clear switches, so I could send you one or two springs if you're in the us.

Oh and I'm not sure if your spacebar has an LED or not, but it'll be a pain if it does due to the LED needing to be desoldered prior to opening the switch.

Edit: If you do manage to pull of the spacebar, put on a x1 keycap and see if sounds like your other x1 keycaps or more like the spacebar sound in the video.

I'll try the credit card method when I get home, I really hope it's not a bad spring. Thanks for the offer, let's just hope that's not the case

Yes, you could always try string or wire. Just try to pull up evenly on both sides. Let us know how it goes.

I just corrected this issue on a mechanical keyboard and wanted to throw in my solution. The problem was caused by there being a small gap between the stabiliser bar and the little plastic thing it goes into. Every time the key was pressed, the bar would rattle around inside that tiny gap and make a sound. The solution was to make the hole that the stabiliser bar goes into slightly smaller (about a millimetre) so that the bar fit more snugly in it. I did this by layering some clear tape together to reach the desired thickness (trial and error, I found 5-8 worked well depending on the key) and cutting a tiny square of that to place inside the hole where the stabiliser bar goes. No gap, no rattling, no noise. The buttons also used to jiggle and make the rattling noise when tapped lightly, but are now rock solid.

Thanks for that, I'll see if that fixes the problem.

Oh and I haven't had the chance to even take off the keys yet
I can't get the keys off no matter how hard I try with my fingers.
Don't have anything that I could use to take them off either

They are pretty cheap or you can make one out of two paper clips. It's basically just a thing that will let you apply the pulling force evenly on both sides of the keycap. There are no special catches or pieces to press or anything on the keys, they literally slot in over the switch and you just pull them slowly to get them off.

Okay so i finally had a chance to get it out, it seems normal when i put on a 1x cap over, put the spacebar back on and it still makes that sound

Oh, those are cherry stabilisers so my solution won't work. If it sounds fine with a normal keycap on the switch, then it's a problem with the stabilisers. Unfortunately, I have no experience with those and can't really help.
