What sensors do the v1 v2 and v3 Kinzu's have? I'm thinking about getting one but I don't know which one to pick.
Click delay is firmware added and has nothing to do with hardware.
To reduce the button lag you have to reprogram MCU, not replace switches. Debounce algorithms are part of firmware.
Where can you even get V1s? I looked a while back, but I had no luck,
There are no exact clones or anything like that, but there quite a few mice that are somewhat similar. Rival 100, Azio Exo1, and some others look like they are in the same vein. There are some random OEM mice as well. I particularly remember one that looked like a kana clone, but was more kinzu sized. I'm sure people who are crazy about the kinzu shape would tell you there are a bunch of things different about those, but then again lots of people go insane over the slightest differences in shape.

Nope, only other mouse I've enjoyed shape wise (though less than) as the Kinzu was the G100s, and mine had horrible buttons, mushy and stiff, absolutely zero feedback.
I recall seeing some sort of chinese kinzu clone on Newegg a couple months ago.Originally Posted by Alya

Let's be clear about this for the moderators, this is not me, this is not anyone I know, I am not advertising, I have bought many from this seller, they are Kinzu V1s, they are in retail box.

I'm looking for a mouse of that general size/shape. I currently use a G100s and I love how light and small it is so I want to try something different. Do you have any other suggestions?
I was actually looking here too and saw that, but if you go down to the description it says Kinzu V3.. So I guess Kinzu V1 is out of the question unless I can find another.Originally Posted by Alya

Yeah that's actually my main problem with the G100s but in a different way. The switches feel fine when I'm just browsing or playing a random game but when I get on Counter-Strike and try to tap fire, I have to control my clicking finger more than usual or else it will burst a couple bullets instead of shooting one at a time. I've actually gotten used to it but it's still a little annoying.
Theres the zalman/n-mouse m600r as well, I believe it uses a 3090.Originally Posted by s0rry
I want something small and very light like the G100s but I don't want the G203/GPro because I want to try something completely new (and something lighter would be nice) . I use claw grip with 18/9 cm hands. One mouse I was looking at was the TT esports Ventus R which looked like a good shape/size/weight.
post up your modded mouse when you get it done.Originally Posted by Rayndalf
If you like the G100s shape to a degree you might as well try the G102 or the Gpro depending on how hard the price has cratered. Its heavier than it probably should be, but the clicks are better than the G100s
(I'll take inconsistant over consistantly bad, but truth be told I hacked up my Gpro and shoved its guts into an old Logitech M-S69... it works but I still need to drill holes and get some small pegs for the side buttons to work. Funny enough it actually has seperate buttons for the clicks, and the clicks were decent pre dremal and fun)
that's hard to get right though you can compensate for bad LOD with different mousepads. I recommend a reflective metal pad for a mouse that's consistently troublesome.Originally Posted by Rayndalf
At this point its basically just a reshell, the scroll wheel looks real clean, but think the LOD is a problem (used it on a crappy (not flat) desk and the cursor would occasionally wander a bit is CS:GO). I probably won't botch the sleekness adding side buttons, so I'll take some decent pics and post it up later today (and learn how much of the Gpro PCB can be excised and still mostly function)
