Hi there, I have only ever used XMP I profile on my ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-F motherboard which gets my DDR5 RAM to 6200mhz.

Though without much prior knowledge I wanted to see if I can get it faster so I followed this RAM overclocking guide (DDR5 Overclocking Guide: Make it Faster - Overclockers).

In the guide it tells me to change the BCLK/DRAM ratio to 100:100, then put it in 1:2 (Gear 2). After that I selected the DRAM Frequency of 6400mhz. I then tried to boot into Windows and on first boot it went into Windows but then quickly BSOD. I restarted the PC and it booted into Windows but then later the screen started flashing. I guess, stability issues.

Does anyone know what I can do to get more out of my RAM? Would appreciate it if someone could help me through as I'm still new to all of this overclocking jazz and still learning...

Did you follow buildzoid settings in that video i sent on other page? Those do settings work.
Just pause video and double check settings.

Yeh I did try them though one of the settings was locked and I couldn’t change it. When I entered all the settings in buildzoid video the PC wouldn’t even boot…..

Unless I did something wrong but I’m pretty sure I did everything correct :( I will try again once I’m home…

Ok make Sure you have all voltages and timings entered in properly then if at 6200 doesnt work or wont boot drop the 6200 speed down to 6000 then try again
Whats the make and model number of you ram sticks from the box?

Do you mean 6400mhz instead of 6200mhz?

Cause I can use XMP I profile and it gets the RAM to 6200mhz.

I don't have the box anymore but the part number of the DDR5 RAM is "TEAMGROUP-UD5-6200"

If you followed all the voltage and timing changes in that vid, 6200 is the speed he was running at it should work unless thats adie and not old mdie.
when you just load xmp 1 settings what are the timings ram? Like the first set of numbers?
