Thermaltake's Core P3 wall-mountable chassis takes honors as being the highest rated case we have ever reviewed. Come and find out why
Even if you are not a fan of open air cases, you will be hard pressed to deny the Core P3 in any way. It is solid, it has tons of options, and while it is the little brother to the Core P5, the Core P3 will fit more user needs in our opinion. One of the largest reasons for this is that now AIOs are in fair play with the Core P3, where the P5 was a bit too wide to accomplish this without modding the chassis. The pricing is downright amazing.

I kind of like it, the price is not bad, almost bought one for fiance, decided to go with something a little more simple, I would switch over to this on my personal rig, but I feel like it would not feel as sturdy as my 750D.
I have the P5 and am quite impressed with the ease of use and maintenance with this case.
I think it would be great if they offered an extended version of the P3 with two 360 rad mounts side by side. Two 360 radiators would cover a lot of builds and be an easier transition for people coming from standard cases instead of the 480mm rad option on the P5.
TweakTown refused my connect over an adblocker. TweakTown is dead to me. Their reviews are useless.
#1. Additional capacitance and impedance on the PCIe bus connections = FAIL
We don't need a stupid deflected pcie bus slot set, we need a case that lets us spread the damned cards out... platform should be "as per normal" but stood-off from the mainboard and spread out further so that if we had 7 x16 slots we could fit at least 5x 3 slot cards into it. This case's 90° half-board is useless because it has FEWER slots and doesn't add functionality but does reduce reliability.
#2. Limited cooling options for closed loop hardware = FAIL
What if I have two 295x2? A couple Fury with radiators? How about if I have a pair of FP2D's? That single 360x120mm radiator mount is egregiously useless, radiator systems stick out beyond the 120x120mm grid, they actually stick out at both ends! So say I've got an H110, there's no place left for me to mount the radiator of even a single 295x2 or even a hybrid card's radiator. This case was obviously designed by an idiot.
#3. No provision to stop hot air recirculation = FAIL FAIL FAIL
Look at all the builds with a radiator mounted in them.
And how stupidly built they are. They all have point-blank recirculation of air coming from the radiators AND THEY BLOCK THE EXHAUST OF THE RADIATOR! This is THE WORST CASE I have ever seen sold as a top-of-the-line gamer wonder. There's no provision for cool air presurization or exhaust, the power supply vents directly into the case without being exhausted and all airways are not only blocked but are convolutedly blocked. I wouldn't put a AM1 board with a kabini in this case for fear of it overheating.
#4. Overclock.net code of conduct would cite my immediate impression as a violation of terms = UBERFAIL.
If I look at a computer case and my first reaction is "what the fuggedaboutet is wrong with these sticking brake pad brained knuckle draggers" then the case should have never been put on market.
Seriously ugly, seriously badly made, seriously overpriced and seriously SERIOUSLY poorly designed. The person who designed this case was the kind of kid you must never tell "you can grow up to be anything you want" because if they'd tried to be a pedestrian they'd have gotten killed by traffic while trying to read the "PUSH TO CROSS" sign.
The ThermalTake Core P3 is shiny garbage: Don't buy it.
Buy a Corsair Carbide 540 instead.
Look at those huge 140mm fan positions on the front and top. I stuck a full size server board in one of these with a pair of Noctua 14D on the sockets and still had room for a cat and a box of 12g shells.
What difference does that make??? There's going with the crowd and then there's purposefully disliking anything that the crowd likes. Both are equally stupid.
If you like it, you like it. If you don't, you don't.

The case is essentially an open test bench with a sheet of acrylic suspended 8 inches above it and minimal air flow restrictions. Also, the PSU exhausts out the back just like 99% of cases out there.
I highly doubt temps are going to be a major issue on most setups, even high-end ones. Sure, some cases with a lot more active cooling will do better, but if you parts wouldn't overheat sitting on a table, they aren't going to overheat mounted in this thing.
Built a friend's with this at his request, WC'd and wall mounted. Actually a pretty nice "case"(?) to work with, and as long as you get a different PCI-E riser (the one that comes with is garbage, would not boot using it) the rotated GFX is pretty sweet IMO.

If you like it, you like it. If you don't, you don't.
Like pretty much all PC cases, it will appeal to some people and not to others. It appears both functional and stylish, for those who like the open air look.
Not my speed personally. I prefer lian li's wall mounted case, if for no other reason than it has panels on all sides.
I don't even own a Caselabs lol (my case is the Phanteks Enthoo Primo).
Also, I hope you realize those who are serious about watercooling and a want a fully customizable case, Caselabs is pretty much the only viable option these days.
Hrrrmmm.. well getting a piece of glass cut isn't that expensive.. I guess that's not prohibitive in any way.
