My first AMD CPU in my personal build was a Phenom II X2 550BE which I quickly sold when it didn't unlock and purchased a Phenom II X3 for slightly more, but we've had a family computer with an Athlon II X2 4400+ since 2006 and I did own a computer with a Phenom X4 9850 back in early 2008. My last personal AMD build had a Phenom II X3 in it, then I went w/ a Core i7 LGA 1366 build, sold that, planned to build an AM3+ system until I found out Bulldozer was a flop and went LGA 1155. No regrets here.

It was a pre-built AMD Athlon 5200+ don't know if it unlocked or anything because I was hardware illiterate back then, well I knew what a CPU etc was and that an Athlon was quite bad. But nowhere near what I know now.

Close second was a AMD Athlon Laptop at 2.0GHz and it was the bomb! Haha. Never owned anything since.

My first AMD CPU was the AMD K5. I believe it was a 5K86 P100. I have for the most part been with AMD since then.

I know you said the first, but my history of processors is short.
An AMD Thunderbird 750mhz, I used it to run voice servers and the whole tower was a mouse pad for when I sat in my recliner (I was 13 at this time and my bedroom was an old bathroom which had a board over the sink that I sat at). The machine I used I got just a tiny bit after was an AMD Sempron 3200+ 1.6ghz (I kept the 750 for the voice servers, I was running some optiplex before getting this Sempron). Followed by my next computer being an AMD Athlon X2 5600+ 2.8. I swapped that for an Intel e5200 which I could overclock to be 76% faster (Got me started here at OCN). Then 1090T, shortly after it was lost in the mail through some accident and my friend gave me an 1100T, which I now use.

Those days of running the Sempron (Which I consider my first AMD, due to not even knowing what AMD, even though I had a T-Bird) were filled with 6-10 fps gaming on CS:S zombie mod hanging out with some girl. We never cared our computers sucked with onboard video, we played and we were happy.

I had an AMD k6-2, 350mhz overclocked to 450mhz. It was a pretty big upgrade from my 50mhz 386 (which I was so disappointed in when diablo wouldn't run-- it required 66mhz cpu lol)

Those days of overclocking were fairly simple, there were little switches on the motherboard, changing the settings would change the multiplier. Good times.
