was it maybe this one?

there's also

@schuldig

I have looked into your recommendations. Thank you. I do have most of this covered apart from the new x3d power plan which I will try. If you can give me anymore help, this will be a better place maybe.
mhm personally i really enjoy having those two .bats replacing my dualboot that you can create with

this way i don't have to constantly manually enable/reenable services. you can even embed it into a bigger cluster of changes as shown in this example :)

Ahhh ok! Thank you for the info and links. Hopefully not too complicated.

Much appreciated!

if you have any questions at any point, feel free to ask :)
if you have already installed your OS and done minor adjustments i'd recommend following amits guide and/or SophiApp.

MSMG is mainly for creating a new .ISO
Thanks for the help.

I will give this a try and hopefully improve. I see so many people benchmarking certain games such as Watch Dogs Legion and although following their setup instructions I’m still behind. I have disabled things in bios suggested also, unless there are other things maybe I’m missing.

I’m running 7950x3d - 64gb 6000 cl30 GSkill.

I thought maybe certain settings such as core isolation, hardware acceleration. Maybe others I don’t know of?

what you will mostly see on stock/absolutely bloated OS´ is that lows are atrocious. Avg frames only improve by a littlebit, even less so if youre playing on anything higher than 1080p or are strictly gpu bound.

I have posted a comparison between stock/bloated and optimized OS here aswell, the difference is massive

This is what I mean. I have 144 processes after trying to get rid of as much as I can.

I’m doing lots of reading but it’s knowing what I can get rid of or not.

Do you have anything that could help maybe?

I've used BloatBox and Windows10Debloater, you can find information regarding these and others here:

+1 for Sophia Script/SophiApp and Winutil by Chris Titus Tech and both are open source. Winutil will tweak services that are mostly safe. I go much deeper with scripts which you can do at the ISO level with NTlite.

To optimize Windows 11 for gaming and benchmarking, start by uninstalling unnecessary apps and disabling startup programs. Adjust power settings to "High performance," keep Windows and graphics drivers up to date, enable Game Mode, and disable background apps. Optimize visual effects, run Disk Cleanup, and manage your SSD settings if applicable.

Additionally, disable Xbox Game Bar if not in use, ensure your monitor is set to its maximum refresh rate, and monitor performance with benchmarking tools and system monitoring software. Always maintain temperature control, and be cautious when closing background applications during gaming. These steps will help streamline Windows 11 for optimal gaming and benchmarking performance.
