I wanted to show some pictures of my HP zr24w (IPS, 1200p) and Samsung s23a750D (120hz, 1080p) in dual monitor setup..side by side comparison. I know a lot of people debate about IPS vs 120hz...a few months ago..I got both because I couldn't decide either.
The panels, screen size, and resolution are very different on both these monitors..but they work surprising well together because, even though the monitors are different in many aspects...they have almost the exact same pixel pitch.
Also the colors are pretty similar (not exact) to the untrained eye, even though I only spent about 15 minutes with the standard calibration settings on each...believe it or not. I'm sure they can be even more similar with further tweaking.
These pictures below will show the color differences between the monitors (which I think are minor for most people), as well as how these monitors look/lineup in dual screen setup. FYI - I keep the Samsung slightly in front of the HP because the bezel is smaller.

(Depending at what angle you are viewing at...the lines that go across the monitors below - do match up almost exactly. The angle I took the picture with my camera is not the same as the viewing angle (or rather head position) I sit at...so the picture below is slightly different than how I actually see it lined up from where I sit..if that makes sense).

Lastly, for kicks...I also posted a few pictures of my IPS HP zr24w (1920x1200) vs. my 4 YEAR OLD Samsung 2253LW TN panel (1600x900)...the difference is shocking. Can't believe I ever used that piece of junk.
