My monitor is making a high pitch noise and it would not turn on. So i bought this kit to fix the problem.

https://www.hobbymods.com/store/inde...ken-parts.html

They shorted me on the 220uf 25v. I have this 330uf 25v. I was wondering if i could replace a 220uf with a 330uf.

I replaced some of the others and the monitor now turns on. It just makes a annoying noise now. All most the same high pitch noise.

I think as long as the volts are the same then it should be better?
Somebody plz correct me if im wrong but the larger capacitor should hold a more steady supply of power.

higher voltage is fine too, just try to keep the uf close

going from a 220-330 uf shouldnt hurt, electrolytic capacitors have a 20% tolerance anyway

if they shorted you parts for the kit, call them and tell them
they will send you replacement parts

edit:
some circuits use caps for timing purposes, with those changing the uf will alter the speeds

any critical timing circuits will use ceramic style caps

Larger cap won't hurt, the circuit will only draw as much power as it needs.

EH? i thought the volts can be higher but the microfarad rating has to be the same.
