Back to the build: block looks sick, pump and all looks top quality, shaping up to be pretty legit. Never was a fan of compression fitting, but god they do look nice.
I may look at something else totally then. I agree on the compression fittings, to be honest I just got a great deal on them a long time ago I went with them and didn't use the compression fitting, I buy 1/2" barbs and go with 7/16 tubing, I use a really hot glass of water allow it to soak for 10 seconds or so as it becomes easier to slap over the 1/2" barb, then it cools back down and I am telling you, I almost have to CUT them off they get so tight, I like the look without the compression fitting or clamp and pray it never works it's way loose lol.

, I am a rookie when it comes to photography (you would think with an uncle that use to shoot for SI I would have some skills in the genes, but it skipped me lol)

I use a Cannon Rebel T1i with stock lens, I am going to order a 50mm 1.4 but I have been spending that money on this build lol.

On a side note I went to USPS to pickup a little package from Nils from MDPC-X, I have no clue why the USPS lady didn't even get her lazy arse out of the mail truck, but she just left a slip.. gooo USPS. So I made a quick trip to pick it up, I wasn't going to wait another day lol.

It gets easier the more you do it. One thing I would suggest with sleeving, is to precut all your shrink to the same size. You will end up with a much cleaner look in the end.
TY, I like your fire/ice build, looking forward to the end. You have more cojones than I do, cutting, painting that beauty lol. I hope it gets easier b/c so far I suck lol.

That is the starting point and it goes up from there, I also added the pedestal and I think it was $189, all of the other parts/pieces you pick you get 25% off b/c JIM ROCKS!, only parts you don't get a discount on are the pedestal and case which is fair to me.

On a side note, I got an awesome alert from paypal that my amazing case has shipped (Jim, again you rock) he told me when I ordered it on Thursday it would go out today, BAM on her way to her new home!

I have been trying to sleeve my fans, wow did that go aweful, out of the 3 I tried 1 went ok the other 2 had 1 wire that did not want to com out, so I had to pull them out and now I will have to put new ends on them, which made me think, I am going to rewire them all, add a few inches once I get the new case so I can run them down into the pedestal and hide them and plug them into the back of the aquacomputer and try and hide them the best as I can, I really hate to see wires if I can find a way to hide them, I will.

I have to start this next post with a HUGE THANK YOU to Jim and the fine folks at Case Labs. I went out to check my mail and I had an amazing surprise waiting on my porch. I ran a company in the past and we shipped items in value of $10,000+ and I have to say, Jim packed every bit as good as we did. The attention to detail is just amazing! They pack this just as they should, like UPS is going to take the box and kick it all the way across the entire warehouse, this box did not have 1 mark on it, b/c Jim and his team know how to pack!
cheers.gif
! to CL!

IMG_2180.jpg

Just for the shear size of these boxes, here is a 12 oz can of pop.
IMG_2185.jpg

when you open the box you know this is packed like it should be!
IMG_2186.jpg

PEEK-A-BOO
Look at the amount of packing before you even get to my new baby.
IMG_2187.jpg

removed the packing

and it is NO different with the pedestal, same amazing packing.
