1080FE - $700
Titan XP - $1200
1080Ti FE = $950

The only big surprise Nvidia can do here is make this a full fat GP102 like they did with the original Titan and the 780Ti but all rumors & leaks suggest a cutdown Titan XP
If that's the price it'll be pretty hard to swallow. After taxes and all the rest of it that'd be around $1900 here. Presumably the AIBs would be cheaper, but I was hoping to get higher end than a reference board.

This would be really sad indeed. The last AMD Gpu i had was two 295x2s.
I hope Vega surprises and if anyone come with a MOBO that supports 4 way xfire im in.

Anyone knows of any MOBO that supports Ryzen and 4 way Xfire?

The whole point of the Ti card is to bring Titan-like performance to the $649 price segment. If they're going to price it at over 800 then that's be rather disappointing. We're on the road to $600 x70 $800 x80 and 1k Tis

GTX980 was $550, GTX980 Ti was $650
GTX1080 was $600-700 so GTX1080 Ti will be $700-$800 at least.

My only problem is I do not wish for GTX780 but a 780 Ti.

The people to blame for these prices are people who keep buying the 'next best thing' regardless of price and performance.

You can't blame them. They work hard for their money. Most dont bend for Titan money but a lot still do. $200-300 more in 2 years is not a lot for some people knowing they have the best.

$950 USD would be around $1250 Canadian, $1400 after taxes. That officially takes this thing beyond the 'tempted and will find a way to justify' threshold. Thanks in advance Nvidia.

No way I am spending more than $1000 CAD personally.

But even $800 is going to be base FE price. Another thing to note is you are still buying GP102 with 512 less cores. 980 Ti has 256 less than the best core. It also came 2-3 months after Titan X. 1080 Ti should either bad $650 FE for - 512 or same as Titan XP in every spec.

I much rather wait and get GTX1070 replacement.

They did the same thing releasing the 980 TI just before Fury X so it tells us nothing really.

This thing will probably be 750$+ and sadly that is too much for me.

I don't expect Nvidia to pull an AMD on the pricing and give back to the gamers and making high end affordable so I guess I have to wait on what AMD is doing with VEGA or get a cheap 1080 if prices come down.

I will probably stick to the 350-450$ price range, because truth be told I actually have no idea what PC games are coming out where I really need a great GPU

Or maybe a Nintendo Switch with the new Zelda

$700 CAD is basically GTX1070 + TAX.

Looks like this will launch before Vega, as we all know Nvidia released the 980ti a month before the Fury X for the same price and had custom cards on the market by the time the Fury x was released. Most reviewers were more than happy to pit massively overclocked 980tis against the Fury X, it had no chance. Hopefully amd will be able to accurately gauge the market this time and release their card at a competitive price and not send it to die. The 1080ti launch price will tell us a lot about Vega, if they launch it between $800-$1000 we know that they dismissing Vega's performance. If they launch the 1080ti for less than $700 then we can expect Vega to have decent performance for the price.

As for the 1080ti, I think it will be a monster and true 4k@60fps card for those that can afford it.
