2560x1440 on 27" or 32"?

Here's my take on this.
- Do you already have a 3440x1440 ultrawide?

-- No?
--- 32"

Sorry I don't know about G-sync monitors, but i think samsung are making variants with G-sync, but I dont know if they are curved or not. I dont follow g-sync news since I would never pay 200 dollars premium they charge for it.

The 32" HP Omen has been out for a while now. It's 1440p, 75hz, and has freesync but its also a VA panel. Freesync range is only 48-75hz though.

Good catch, I forgot about that one.

I was actually about to reconsider that monitor just now until I looked on Display Specifications to see that it's an AUO panel. I have no faith in them after the Omen X and AOC Agon AG352UCG, despite the fact that this obviously isn't the same panel.

Though I will say, I forgot how much cheaper FreeSync monitors are compared to G-Sync.

I'd go with 25-27" for 1440p.

32" should be 2160p.

Now that more people have 31,5 or 32% 1440p monitors experience, maybe we can get some more feedback on this topic?

Still waiting for the monitors to launch. Only AOC is available. 32" 1440p is about equal PPI to 24" 1080p, so nothing impressive. The only 27" to launch I think is the overpriced Samsung that already seems to have issues as the FG70 had. The rest are crappy overpriced old IPS AUOs I would't look at even through welding glasses.
I would say 32" is better but PPI is better on the 27", depends what you prefer bigger size or bigger PPI and what your wallet allows. In the end for me it's about value.
