Any word on any new aluminum cases in the near future?
What would you like from aluminium.
Lian Li would bankrupt near so many enthusiasts who are not ready to pay premium aluminium cases once in 6-7-8 years.
Because of that they start to launch these new cheaper versions...
First with motherboard tray from Steel and out aluminium and that drop price from 350-450$ on 230-250-300$, even that was high price to many people and then they launch Lancool, Dynamic, Air, Alpha, etc...

If you want nice aluminium case check Lian Li PC-O9 WX, or Lian Li PC-O8 WX

Look beauty and art... only need to replace feets with SD-O1...

First cost over 400$, smaller PC-O8 cost arround 400$.
I wished him first, Plan was to install radiator in back chember and EK XRES D5 Revo 100 Glass on mesh for back fans and tubes would go in back chember above motherboard... You see on back is 120mm fan... on that place could stay EK Uni Bracket 120 and XRES D5 with small reservoir... but I didn't had money for him.
Only store where I bought Lian Li PC-O11 WXC asked 450 euro for him. 200 euro more than aluminium version PC-O11 WXC.
PC-O9 is story for self... nicest case for me at the moment. Only beauty of PC-O8 is his small size... Look as mATX but you can install E-ATX and watercooling.

I ordered a PC-O11 Dynamic to replace my PC-a79 for the time being. I like the design, and I'm willing to give the budget cases a chance. That said I really hope that Lian Li doesn't abandon the high end market. I've never begrudged them $300-500 for their good work.

Here's hoping Lian Li doesn't become another NZXT or Phanteks chasing after the $100 market with a lot of iterations on the same design.

That PC-O9 WX is tempting. If the O11 impresses I may pick it up as well.

I hope as well. That would be tragic... they are loyal to aluminium from 1980th... Lian Li Dynamic beat all steal PC cases in design and cooling options.
But when we talk about Lian Li I used on their recognizable surface on their aluminium chasis.
You can't imagine how good is when you touch him, .. I love feeling, smooth surface, touch and sound of alu "can".

First Wall Mounted case, first case with vertical GPU, first desks computers...
After Caselabs gone no one can match with them...

I think it's time to back silver cases on market again, even not painted look good...
This is PC-O12 amazing case except many people don't like mobo upside down....

Now nicest case on market for me first 5 are Lian Li...
Nice because you take Dynamic, but if you can afford you shouldn't think at all about PC-O9.

PC-09 exactly have place for thick 360mm radiator as Nemesis GTR, GTX, Coolstream XE in back chamber, thin as GTS or Coolstream SE 360 on top of case, fans on holes in first chamber and on top... and pump/reservoir mounted on fans with Uni-bracket, on bottom fan bigger reservoir, on mid fan smaller reservoir....

My overall feelings about o11 dynamic compare to the “real” lian li pc q37 (small version of original o11) it is good, great panel mounting mechanism, loads of radiator/fan support and a lot of respect for the price. But it is the small things that give aluminium lian li cases it’s premium feel. The bolts, the standoffs, the thumbscrews are awefull compare to q37 they just feel like the come from the same factory as some cheap under 50$ chinese noname case. After assembling in q37 i was expecting same quality for bolts and screws. Please change the bolts and screws.
The anodised aluminium finish on q37 or o11 is premium if Lian li had an aluminium upgrade kit for side and top panel for dynamic it would be great.
The hdd cage is a hdd noise amplifier. Metal hdd brackets looks and feel great, but if they were made from some rubbery plastic it would be better for supressing the hdd noise.
And the biggest consern is the side rad mount. It was a chalange)))

If you can show me in a picture what you need measured I can do it.
Thanks.. It'd look something like this. The rez could sit horizontally if height is an issue. It's mainly depth (chamber partition to lip where door hangs). I'd be putting in a Micro ATX board so tubing could be routed through chamber wall below motherboard. It's quite similar to my last dual chamber case build.. Really helped to keep it clean and simple aesthetically.

I was aware of that for Dynamic. Because of that I thought Lian Li PC-O11 WXC or nothing.
Lian Li PC-Q37 is for me nicest Mini ITX Case. No way to use something else for Mini ITX. But Mini ITX is problem for me, same as Vertical GPU Mount. I use good sound card, I see difference bettween sound cards and I want to stay on high end sound cards. That's very important for me.

Dynamic and Air have shape and options but you can't get fine case for such low price.
PC-O8 smaller case, than PC-O10/11/12 series cost double than Lian Li PC-O11WXC and triple Dynamic because it's full aluminium.
And have less material than both of them, smaller peace of glass, lighter, etc... but price is high.
Don't even to talk about PC-O9. some stores us higher price than for Caselabs S8.

I'm very satisfied with Lian Li and I think to stay in future with their cases.
Now they are No 1. Only I don't like because they not answer on questions, I asked them about feets SD-O1 they didn't answer.
I will order them and maybe not use because I'm not sure is it holes below rubbers on corner.

Just wanted to share my O11 dynamic build. Detailed build log in signature.
WOW, looks great! I have the case on order and a stack of NFF12's here, wasn't sure how they were gonna look. Now I know, awesome.

Yep, the dynamic needs a more narrow than normal rad for the side. You can fix this by removing the front USB, rotating and carefully shaving the USB as well as enlarging the mounting holes, or cutting out the section of the radiator shroud where the USB hit. With a 133mm wide GTS I was able to get away with just shaving the cables and some brute force.

If you care about the front ports at all I doubt gts will work if it fits at all.
damn.. but you managed to force a 53mm thick rad in there! What about the back panel, any issues closing it after that brute force operation?

The gts is only 30mm thick you are thinking of the gtx

Sorry, I completely missed this somehow. As a quick and dirty answer my 86mm high PSU fit in there comfortably so probably a little over 90mm. If you need something more specific than that I can whip out the ol' measuring stick when I'm home.

That's one amazing watercooling RIG.
New Noctua beasts NF-A12x25
That mean it's not problem to reservoir stay in that position.

That mounting mechanism on bottom fans, who produce him?
I made it by myself.

This is my first post in the forum. I always had lian li cases for my builds and now I am looking for a new case for an AMD based pc.
The components that I will fit in the new case are:
Ryzen 2700x
Asus crosshair vii
2 Sapphire RX Vega 64 Nitro+
At least 2 3.5" HDD (better if more)
EVGA supernova 1600 t2
For the moment I will use an AIO to cool the CPU leaving the video cards air cooled but I would like that the new case will be suitable for a future custom loop. At the moment i have a cooler master 280 AIO but I can purchase a 360 AIO if needed.

Unfortunately I have to put the new pc under a desk and I have some constraints in the case size, mostly in height, and therefore I can't opt for a big tower like a V3000.

I think the cases the will better suit my needs are the 4 variants of the PC-O11 family:

Original PC-O11 and ROG variant: they have aluminum panels, can fit 4 Ă— 3.5" drives and the 225 mm long PSU but they are not so much flexible for what concerns fans and radiators mounting (e.g. I can't fit a 280 AIO cooler). I don't know if they are good for cooling vega 64 cards on air and I am not sure if it is better the ROG edition or the original PC-011.

PC-O11 Dynamic and Air: first of all, I don't know if I will like the cheaper materials having had many full aluminum cases in the past. On the other hand, these cases seem better engineered for what concerns air and liquid cooling options and they are a little smaller than the aluminum versions. What I don't like is the fact that I can only mount 2 3.5" hard drives and I have to remove the cable management bar to install the EVGA psu.

The last option would be the more concentional alphas and lancool one cases but I don't like too much their air restrictive design and I am not sure my big PSU would fit in these cases without removing the hard disk cages.

In conclusion, since I have the need or good air cooling, the most rational choice would be the PC-011 air, taking also into account that the case will be placed under a desk so not in view (for me the air is ugly...)

But If I think about aesthetics only, I would choose one of the 2 models with aluminum panels.

Since it seems that there are many users here that have one case of the O11 family, I would like to have some opinions that could help me to choose the best case for my needs. Thanks.

I suggest you to stay with Lian Li PC-O11 WX series.
It's not full-full aluminium, but everything you touch from outside is aluminium and their well known finish.
Steel inside only give strength because I believe they would need to use thicker aluminium for inside and that would cost A LOT.
I mean PC-O8 much smaller where thinner aluminium is possible cost 400. That mean full alu PC-O11 would cost arround 400 as well.
PC-O10 is full aluminium and good shape but they missed to put 360mm radiator place on top. It's sad to see such case without 360mm radiator.
But somehow people with 2x 240mm could survive for single GPU and CPU cooling. Only is more complicate.

PC-O11 WX have on flaw. That's no mounting bracket for 280-420mm radiator.
I believe they could launch or leave at least as option. I believe on top they had space for 420mm somehow and they had space to offer mounting mechanism 420mm on front for 420mm. I even seriously suggetst them to launch 420mm Mounting Mechanism for Lian Li PC-O11 WXC because 140mm case fans will cover better that space.

I ordered
Lian Li SD-01B Feet
Lian Li HD-323X Dual 2.5" SSD/HDD to 3.25" Bay aluminium with rubber... For me best such mounting mechanism and cost 9 euro only.
CORSAIR sell Dual Mounting SSD Tool for more I think

I'm not sure did I order right legs, because SD-01 is 45mm and SD-02 are 35mm, maybe smaller would fit better on my case, only I didn't saw smaller
in black variant. If I don't like how fit Black 45mm, I will order silver 35mm. :)

I promise myself after 650D, who had steal constuction and aluminium side panels that I will not use full steal case and in further I will look to be 100% aluminium. We deserve that, manufacturers fool us, they could melt 200-300 empty soda/bear cans and build case and we paid him 400 euro.
That's not fair.

Case is first you saw when you show computer and hardware to someone, and if case is not enough elegant to stay near NAD and Arcam Hi-Fi I don't need him.

With Lian Li HD-323X I will have oportunity to remove one HDD Bay.
I need place for Dual SSD and one 3.25" HDD and every Bay have dual 3.25" with options to mout HDD on other places.

No Doubt, Lian Li PC-O11 WXC with 230-240 euro is best from whole line. I advice him to you for new AMD Rig.
But you should compare with other models. White Edition is nicest White case on market without doubt.
ROG Editions would be better but I couldn't think is it enough space between motherboards and fans, is it possible to keep Pump Uni Bracket in front.
What to do with I/O Panel and how to bend cables because radiator from inside. I compared a lot, measure, look options, and PC-O11WXC was best price-look-material case from my perspective now.
Off course for PC-O8 and O9 I would replace him instantly, but that's not my level now.
I was so sad because I couldn't afford PC-O8...I can't explain. PC-O9 was nicer, but PC-O8 fit in my plans to case is smaller as possible.
Everything I want perfectly I measure fit in him. 360mm radiaot inside, fans outside chamber, Pump/Reservoir mounted on back fan place, tubes through grommets in back chamber... everything... and I couldn't afford...

If Lian Li once decide to giveaway PC-08 WX I deserve one, and I will make Big Giveaway to give free my PC-O11 WXC.
180 euro more expensive was PC-O8 WX(underline WX), SWX is not good for E-ATX.

Overclockers.uk should be paid extra because all information I need about small parts and case I couldn't find anywhere I got from them.
Lian Li not answer on question directly in interest to them to profit.

mostly finished....
got to find out why my flow meter isn't working, and i have no rgb control
needs draining, waiting on my turing....then refill with UV reactive fluid
Its quiet and runs much cooler than my other watercooled builds, very pleased
That looks really good. What case is that?

I'm considering picking up the Lian Li PC-Q37 but I'm wondering what are the chances Lian Li end up re-doing this case with the same sidepanel mount as the O11 Dynamic. A PC-Q37 with the thumbscrew less temper glass would look pretty sleek

There is no chance to do that. They have Mount system on aluminum cases
PC-Q37, PC-O5, PC-06, PC-07, PC-O8, PC-O9, PC-O10, PC-O11, on all of them system is same.
Four screws with rubber keep glass if I want to clean dust.
Personaly for me is not problem I will keep peace of sponge flat similar as you get with graphic cards below glass.

Only flaw of Lian Li PC-Q37 is because it's Mini ITX and no Mini ITX with place for dedicate Sound Card, or no place in case.
mATX Form Factor I would bought him probably.

It's perfect, do not think twice if you can tolerate Mini ITX.
I can't. Sound is for me same as graphic and I recognize difference between SBZ and SBZxR, not some onboard solutions.

That on pictures is modifed V3000... Insane PC Case. Look amazing, but for me it's amazing and in first condition.
Funny how many people chase for Obsidian 900D 390 euro or Obsidian 1000D 500 euro and Lian Li PC-V3000 WX cost 460 euro.
He beat them both, it's tragic to miss him if you can afford and search such type of case.

Lian Li have best PC case in litterary every segment, in any of these segment no better PC case.

Mini ITX (PC-Q37WX)
Wall Mount (PC-07SX),
Desk PC (DK-05X),
Big Cubic (PC-D888X),
Small Cubic (PC-O8 WX)
Mid Cubic/Dual Chamber (PC-09WX)
Big Tower PC-V3000WX)
Mid Dual Chamber - PC-O11
etc...many different small cubic, vertical, horizontal HTPC, Mini ITX, mATX, ATX options...

There is a nice and not expensive Lian Li options.
Example PC-A75 WX is full tower, aluminium, black... 240 euro I don't understand how someone could forgot on him if look for some better Fractal Design... they choose these new cases with cover PSU, that's now Top Sellers... no one check PC-J60WX aluminium 230 euro and more options.
Without doubt manufacturer with more models than 50% of manufacturers together.
Only they don't have nicest benchtable and Caselabs was above them.

Now they start to make cases and below 140 euro and beat competition.
But because I keep case, 7-8 years and I change mine only because 200mm fans are not options any more and
Mid Tower without 360mm radiator with one 240mm is nothing... I would stay more on 650D. If so long keep one case than why not 250-300 euro.

Without Lian Li and now Caselabs is not available any more PC Case market would be empty for me.
I would depend of chance that some small company unknown launch some nice aluminium case...
Streacom example or LD Cooling... Jonsbo... and there was no warranty that something I like would show up.

Because 100+ EUR cases are way pricey and often overpriced unless we're talking full aluminum construction. Also Lian Li has a weird case selection that fits barely anyone's taste until their latest cases which still are rather niche and don't seem to offer even 140mm rear exhaust.

Not everyone spends 300 EUR on a case and 1200 EUR on a GPU and another 1500 EUR on a CPU.

Most of their newer cases are full of tempered glass and RGB fad to look cool but aren't exactly practical while their non tempered glass cases are rather 90s-00s hideous with 5.25" bays and what not.
