@hellm, so who shared you the rai file? Was it a certain german guy who also leaked amdvbflash and atitool? Now that i think about it, you're german too!
Without it, no way you'd be able to get all the bits, heck, even the values..

At a certain moment, I was honestly thinking about releasing an update to Amd Memory Tweak with navi support.
Perhaps a good thing that i didn't :)

Good job though!

Cheers
thx, but maybe you should have made the update. There is one drawback with timings and a BIOS mod, if it is the only way to change the timings. You have to flash all the time for testing.

And there was some trade in information going on, but you wouldn't guess where i got all the necessary bits from. :D

The drawback is identical when doing it live.. every reboot, you'd have to reapply..

There's only a handful of people (outside AMD) that could have given you these so i wouldn't have to guess that much ;-)

Cheers!

testing memory tweaks would be easier test with a app and a save file feature maybe

ill be a guinea pig :D

So i've been following this software development for a while before i finally upgraded from a 7970m on a laptop to a proper PC with an MSI 5700XT Gaming X.
However i have a few questions so i can get up to speed.

From what i understand prior to some driver AMD allowed you to use registry entries to raise the parameter limits of the card. After they locked it down so you need to do good old vbios flashing.
In order to do that you need to use a special release of atiflash that ignores/bypasses the signature check.

Are the above statements correct?
I've also noticed there are 2 flashing programs on IGOR's website. What is the difference between them?
Also which one works under DOS? I'm old school so i only flash in DOS and i've even done blind flashing multiple times..worst case scenario i have my trusty EEPROM programmer on the side

Moreover, is there is any way to check the actual GDDR modules on my card in software? From the vbios i see it could be either Micron or Samsung.

As for overclocking i heard 950Mhz is the MAX stable for the memory, however for the core i'm unaware what is achievable on air cooling and at what voltages. Cooler is pretty good on my card, full load 60oC and fans are at half speed. Any starting pointers good to know.

Kind regards

Hi! Question to all experienced people here.
Can someone point to a registry entry where the driver's FRTC cap value/state stored? I know it still functioning with latest 20.7.2 drivers (tested with old radeon settings app), but i have no access to it from the new gui. Old gui works but broke some monitor power saving functionality.
Thanks.

Any success with Sapphire Radeon RX 5600 XT PULSE I try it today but modded bios giving Back Scren ( I only change OC limit from 1820 to 2100) * Praise to dual bios on GPU ;)

Has Igorslab ever figured out anything modding & flashing modded bios for AMD Vega graphics? There is a Vega Bios Editor floating around that corrects the checksum after flashing but it won't post after flashing the modded bios because of a image signature issue.

Thanks

Is there any more up to date info on MPT??

I have ASUS TUF Gaming RX6800 and finding it difficult to find proper settings. Also the latest ver is different and can't find any examples with the new version.

Which setting do I need to change, exactly?
