Hi, I hope I'm not off topic with this question, but I just bought a Dark Z790 and I'm waiting for a new set of memory to arrive to put everything together, however I just found out and I don't know how true is that Vince quit, as well as the team that develops the BIOS. The truth was I didn't know anything and I have the unopened mobo and I wonder if I should return it. I'm not worried about using it since I'm not going to do anything extreme other than play around with the OC of the mems. From my POV, the quality is unique from what I saw in reviews. I honestly didn't want to give Asus any more money, I was thinking of buying a Maximus Hero and found a great deal on Amazon for the Dark. I was very happy until I heard this news from various streamers. The only thing that worries me is if EVGA will release new updates in both BIOS and Drivers. Now if the company is about to close, I am concerned.

I don't want to generate rumors and be off topic. I’d appreciate your suggestions on what you would do in my place by private message.

Yea be hard to buy evga stuff anymore (unless you can get very cheap)with them obviously heading out the door. From the gamers nexus video z790 will be last motherboard they make

1.55 is safe for memory VDD and memory VDDQ. Need active cooling to keep temperatures manageable at those voltages.

for the drivers... NO, they never did, they never will. and not even for ME firmware etc, even when they was full operative.

for the bios, well, take a look on the official forum, there was an official statement from a staff member telling us an update for RL-R will came, but now it's what? two months since all other companies released that bios, and still nothing from evga. I paid over 1k€ my board and i'm a little bit disappointed.
So, who knows, maybe there will be a "last" bios with just the raptor lake refresh support, maybe not, but don't aspect anything else for sure.

Wonder if a bios will be released for this board that supports 14th gen.

I have an Apex z790 in case, but my brother is building a PC soon and wants to buy my Apex.
