And some old Bios different settings....lower VDD then for some strange reason, hope this will help you somewhat. My CPU doesn't like 8000 with GDM off for either A or M die, just on the matching part, its stable but I prefer not to run mismatched so I settle in for either 8000 enabled GDM or 7800 GDM disabled as you will see below. This kit will be leaving me shortly as I need more ram, venturing over to the dreaded 64GB A-die version, waiting for its arrival a 6800CL34 kit A-die.

Some of my old data for your perusal

Low UCLK and high IF, low VSoc is needed.
From Imprezzion it seems like 8000 neefs more soc the higher fclk he runs, but on my setup at 6000 I need same for 2000 as for 2133 so seems right what you say :)

Try ProcODT 40 and less VSOC/VDDP
Someone at hardwareluxx tested differentbProcODTs and found that moving from 48 to 40 and 37 gave a few percent extra fps when cpu bound. Any ideas why? :)

Edit: I saw you got no improvement. Strange...

Yes, but requirements are still very low with the new 1.1.0.2b AGESA BIOS. 2133 1.05 2200 1.14 2210 (BCLK) 1.16. Too low will cause performance issues. Easily seen in AIDA when bandwidth drops or latency goes way up.

EDIT: ProcODT I tend to run on 48 but I can try lower and bench it?

That is steep fclk-scaling! Yrah, seems some get boost from lower ProcODT, others dont.

Been playing with AM5 for about a month now. Hynix A-Die 7200C34-44-44-96

If you see room for improvement I am listening :)
I read in this thread SCL 8/8 is works well for A-Die.

I tried 6600 1:1 but on linpack i loose 10GFlops. I guess it starts to choke...

This one passed 30000% Karhu, TM5 1usmus and anta extreme, 1 hour prime large FFT AVX, 90 minutes y-cruncher 1-7-0
1.5v MEM_VDD / 1.48v MEM_VDDQ / 1.4v VDDIO

Big difference between imcs, testing a new 7800x3d now. At 6000c30 gdm off mine needs 1.27v soc, new one needs 1.02v soc. Mine needs 1.05v soc for 5600 😅 But unfortunately cores are worse and does worse CO :/ But since ram speed seems to max out potential around 5600-5800 with tight timings in most scenarios maybe better coreperformance is better :)
Whats the CO capability of the good and bad cpu, in referance to core perf?

And do you have access to eclk on the mobo you are using? Would be interessting to hear about the difference in eclk on a strong core cpu vs a lesser part

I got used 7900x in great deal
unfortunately , the IMC /FLCK look bad and i cant get stable DDR @ 6400 or FCLK over 2100 :(

Asrock B650m hdv so no eclk :/ My old cpu had an avg of CO -41 stable in occt avx2 large extreme, worst core -32. That is a very good bin of cores. New cpu has 1 core failing -25, but passing -20, all other cores stable at -30. Will test further. In my opinion avg of -10 or worse=bad, up to -30 avg, over -30 good. Too bad I cant test eclk, the guys I swapped with dont have eclk either.

6200 is pretty avg, 6400-6800 is good, my previous 7800X3D needed 1.27v for 6000, that is bad ;) Your fclk is more at the bad end. 2133-2167 is very common.

Maybe you get lucky and can boost it by a good negative CO/pbo?

Yes actually
Cc0 - 25/ ccd1 - 35 fully stable the boost is decent also. up to 5839mhz

Noticed my 2X16GB Adie shows (2) Ranks, Noticed most seem to show (1) Rank here..
Is this a "Dual Rank" 2X16GB Kit? I thought only 2X32GB was "Dual Rank"...

I previous had a Team Group 2X16GB Adie kit that I could set tRDRDSD / tWRWRSD to (1) as it wasn't being used - It showed (1) Rank.
On this G.Skill 2X16GB Kit and can't set tRDRDSD / tWRWRSD to lower than (7) or it won't post.. - (2) Ranks.
So clearly a difference here just don't know exactly what it means..

Could you verify the chips are on both sides of the PCB?

Yeah I'm not gonna take out/ breakdown my DIMMS.. I'm not that curious..

I doubt thaiphoon burner is reading it wrong. There's clearly a difference ( tRDRDSD / tWRWRSD as noted ) here among 2X16GB DIMMS..
I suspect most are probably Single Rank but not all.

If anybody else has (2) Ranks in Thaiphoon Burner 2X16GB willing to verify the physical presence of the chips on PCB, knock yourself out lol.
I'll just trust Thaiphoon Burner here.
