Can you not install it manually, download the APX package ?
When I open the exe file, it opens a Microsoft Store window like the screenshot I provided, and shows that error message. Maybe I need to connect with a Microsoft Account for this to work, but that will never happen (I'm a local account kinda guy). Why Intel won't provide THEIR OWN software to be downloaded from the Intel download site is very strange!

If want try linx updated at trhis last linpack version

So it’s not a big issue as I rarely have all this connected copying files, but clearly there is something fishy going on USB wise.
I know on my 0-11 Dynamic the 2 usb 3 ports a flaky, but the USB-C port is perfectly fine, funny enough it's the same as my sons 0-11, front USB 3 ports don't work proper, usb-c does..
Don't have any issues with the rear ports at all so I put that down to the cases seeing 2 have the same issue with different system.

Try this.

You shouldn't be having those temperatures. You're all mixed up and you're adding complexity for the sake of complexity for some reason.

Do the following if you're on 0x129.

Reset UEFI to defaults, save, and power cycle your machine.

Enter UEFI.

Choose Intel Performance, or Intel Extreme depending on your CPU.

Set your XMP.

Touch nothing else. Stop, cease, halt. You may be tempted to just adjust one little thing, because someone once told you your motherboard will roll you, I need you to be a sharper tool in the shed though. Stop touching the hot stove to see if it's hot, it's hot, leave it alone. Control yourself.

Save and exit.

Boot into windows.

Run a benchmark.

Let me know how it goes.
I tried this. My board defaults to Intel Extreme. R23 score is OK but my 13900K only boosts to 5.0/4.0 using 263W of power. What's with that??

Run HWINFO and clear it right before you do a run, take a screenshot of hwinfo after showing what your die sense reportedfor voltage, amperage, wattage and the temperatures you were hitting and if there was any performance limits triggered.

Do odd number timings even make a difference on DDR 5 gear2? 36-49 vs 36-50
I haven't tried ycruncher again since before 0x125 and Intel taking the fun out of everything,
Todays the first day I haven't just set **** to defaults and been depressed or angry about the whole Intel thing,

Cinnamontoastcrunchbench benchmark going up there as well as the CB23 are using 320w so lots of room temperature wise but yeah, whats the point

I have Z790 Hero Maximus and 8400 G skill ram. I can get them to run turbo (extreme timings) and stable at 7400 Mhz. But 7600 Mhz stock XMP 1 seems impossible. It seems like its working but in y cruncher error. I think its frustrating as the RAM are top notch and the motherboard states it support 7600 2 x 24gb. I have a 14900KS with a MC SP that should be more than enough for beyond 8000 range. Its such a let down with these expensive premium mobo that they cannot run those speed and you suddenly need an APEX motherboard instead. I feel so "cheated".
Not sure why you feel cheated, only 2 dimm boards are going to run those kind of speeds. I am surprised you didn’t know that going in if you’re active here. I can understand the frustration but it’s Apex or nothing 👍

Thanks, but I already got the exe file from Microsoft, but as I said it just opens up the Microsoft Store for installation and with that error I showed.
MS Store is one big POS, you know this. It's the reason even MS decided to allow apps to be downloaded directly and not only via Store, it's a rather recent change.

I'm finding the cores that throw whea errors the earliest and limiting their ratios in the performance core section, switching from auto to adaptive and setting a positive voltage offset which seems to help. Ideally this will mean that at a certain voltage, those cores will just clock a bit lower - and so far, that seems to work. One issue though, is that if I do this to core 0 the readout in OCtool seems to break - and it no longer shows the highest boost bins as corresponding to v/f 11 - Does anyone know if this is just an artifact of the OCtool looking at core 0 for information, or is it actually cutting the voltage down for v/f 11 for all of the other cores? I am hoping it is the first one.

Is anyone else experiencing what feels like bugged C-States with the new BIOS and Intel Default Settings? Unless I manually disable C1E, my voltage in the BIOS drops and once I get into Windows my clocks drop no matter if I am using Balanced or High Profile power states. The minute I go back to ASUS settings, the C-States operate as they should at idle.

Populating the M.2 slot above the top PCIE slot will drop your vid card to x8 I think on the Encore.

I think x8 hurts performance by a few percent. For example in this recent post,
