@KedarWolf I was supposed to upload the ZenTimings screenshot but I fell asleep yesterday lol.

How stable is that? I've run into the exact same wall and basically gave up on 6400, even 6200 I cant get stable enough for 10 mins in linpack extreme, even at loose settings and high voltage.
Passed TM5 and Kahru for a couple hours. I didn't test on linpack but can give it a go later tonight if you'd like? No crashes or issues for over 24 hours now. I may give 6400mhz one more go after the next stable bios release, but I'm still feeling frustrated over it 😂.

Do the impedance values for Hynix-M on the 9800X3D match those on the 7800X3D? I noticed that the BIOS is setting PROC ODT to only 25.3 ohms.
Could someone with a 9800X3D and Hynix-M RAM share their settings? Timings and impedance, ideally from the ASUS BIOS.
Why am I doing this? Occasionally, after a restart from the system, my system ends up with the DRAM LED on and the subsequent boot doesn't proceed. I've tried everything: different EXPO settings, manually setting everything except impedances, enabling Nitro, adjusting VSOC up and down, nothing has helped.

I've written down the steps I can take next:
  1. Uninstall HWinfo - someone told me that it could be causing issues with the BIOS.
  2. Minimize using system restarts, turning on and off doesn't bother me.
  3. Wait for a newer BIOS.
  4. Turn off fast boot, iGPU.
  5. Set the impedance values, because maybe this would be the solution.

this usually happens with me on Asrock b650, if this happens its because ram OC is not stable.

I've tried everything, and it even does this without EXPO at default 4.8GHz. It also manages to run at CL28 and it still happens just as often. So if they aren't stable, how is it possible that they can handle much lower timings? Could the problem be in the impedances? In all tests, the memory passes TestMem5, Karhu, and bootable Memtest, everything is OK.

EDIT:
The solution is probably to enable "Monitoring software reboot workaround" in the BIOS.

Don't worry about it, I'm about to fully give up, I cant get 6200 to boot for me any more at all

Clear CMOS and reflash bios. Some users same problem, last one was here on last week.
Mobo "works" somehow but in the end, it won't work how it should be.

Corsair Vengeance VDIMMs? I see those are pretty often crappy rams, some of 6000c30 cant even OC'd to stable 6200 or not boot at all 6400. Cheap? Yeah.

Also some users say a couple months ago that they have same issue like you have, even 6000 is too much for their IMC. Dunno if later bioses fix those problems or they stay on stable 5600.

Or dimms contactors are dirty, example crease from fingers when installed..

lol, thank you. I feel stupid for wasting so much time on the old bios, banged out this in less than 5 mins after doing a complete bios wipe. (not amazing, but a start)

Cause i still have 7800X3D and 2w ago ordered 9800X3D not arrived yet, i throw this post here.
You have been OC'd 6000 settings, i have also, been bored /w my 6400 stable settings now ~2 months and started 2-3 days ago try to tweak my 64GB DR kit to search how these are running @6000MT/s...

Aida64 latency + Karhu speed ~same as my 6400 setup.

56.4ns + Karhu ram-speed 262MB/s ... on 6000MT/s!
Computer Font Screenshot Software Electronic device

6400: cl28, tRCD 37, GDM enabled, tPHY mismatch
6000: cl26, tRCD 34, GDM disabled, tPHY match, + many other settings tighter now...

Currently also trying, i know, i know, tRTP is not 12, just a 10.

FCLK 2166 not stable, get error after 2-3h on Karhu even at VDDG 1.00V, VDDP 1.10V, VDDQ/VDDIO 1.48V.
Then Karhu ram-speed 265+MB/s.

FCLK 2200 goes to Win, not crashed but totally unstable, Aida read -50% and latency 300ns...

Sharing bios screenshot from asus. Value 1 works for asus and gigabyte boards I guess. You can try 0,1 or 2. One of them might work.
Hey guys, I've been unable to find the ARdPtrInitVal setting in my Gigabyte B650M Elite AX bios (to get tPHYRDL's to match).
I tried looking through all the DDR menus but haven't had any luck.
I've seen it as an option for ASUS and MSI but haven't seen a screenshot of it in a Gigabyte bios yet.
I couldn't find any PMU training menu at all like in the ASUS bios. I'm thinking it just might not be an option for Gigabyte B650 - similar to how some phase shift options are also absent for Gigabyte.
I'm using the older F21 bios so I can run VDD at 1.75V - so might just not be available for the bios I'm using. (Are the new Gigabyte bios's still capping VDD to 1.65V?)
And I'm using a 7800X3D - not sure if that affects whether the option is exposed or not.

If anyone's been able to find ARdPtrInitVal for Gigabyte and could throw up a screenshot it would be much appreciated.
Cheers :)

EDIT: Looks like ARdPtrInitVal is only for Ryzen 9000 so it doesn't apply to me.

So good news.. I got my replacement mobo from Asus x870e STRIX-E to Gigabyte x870e Aorus Master and.. IT JUST WORKS.

Everything auto. Only changed 6000->6200 and 2066 FLCK. EXPO at 6000 wasn't stable on STRIX-E no matter what voltages I used.

Quick question about HWINFO and Zentimings on gigabyte.
Is VDDIO bugged in ZT? Or am I reading the wrong read out in HWINFO?
Never mind, VDDIO has a much higher overshoot(is that the word?) compared to my Asus, makes sense now.

Also, where is high voltage mode on Gigabyte? I can't go past 1.45v vdd without failing boot :s

VDDIO often doesnt match on bios value. My cheapo MSI B650 Tomahawk motherboard undershoots it, 1.40V bios > HWinfo 1.384V.

3-4 months ago, on some of GB -600 series mobos, and at least some of Corsair DDR5 rams max. voltage was locked 1.43V.
VDD override option wasn't available on that combo.

I don't remember .. was it only GB bios problem with Corsair mismatch issue or limited voltage on purpose from Corsair?

And now you have brand new GB 870E Master mobo..not issues again with Corsair DDR5? 👎

looking at your master and strix-e ZT, the most standout to me is the vddp, 0.95v on giga and 1.15v on asus

from my own experience, 64gb somehow likes lower vddp, 0.95v is right around there @safedisk perhaps asus consider to check your ram trainings for 64gb

I'll try out my 2x24gb patriot m-die's tomorrow when I have the chance. Strange how Asus can override that limit but Gigabyte can't?
Maybe I can try play with SPD profiles, we'll see. 🤔
